1 Consultation process for the development of CHS guidance notes and indicators

Aim: The consultation process aims to improve the quality of the guidance notes and key indicators whilst also encouraging a greater sense of ownership of and familiarity with them.

Oversight: A steering committee has been established with representatives of HAP and People In Aid, Groupe URD and Sphere, to oversee the overall guidance development process. Its responsibility is to ensure the drafting process follows agreed terms and is of high quality, reflecting an inclusive approach. Technical Working Group members include: CDAC, DEC, Groupe URD, HAP, Oxfam, People In Aid, Save the Children, Sphere, UN OCHA. The group is facilitated by HAP consultant Suzanne Ferron and chaired by Oxfam.
