Reason for change: All OGC-approved XML Schema Documents (.xsd files) are now stored where they can be accessed using two different base URLs, namely
http://schemas.opengis.net/ and http://schemas.opengeospatial.net/. This use of two different base URLs to reference the same files is sometimes confusing.
Summary of change: Change the base URLs that can be used to access all OGC-approved XML Schema Documents (.xsd files) so that only http://schemas.opengis.net/ can be used.
Consequences if
not approved: Continued confusion due to same OGC-approved XML Schema Documents (.xsd files) being accessible using two different base URLs.
