CHARGEMAN (KUALA LUMPUR)
Responsibilities:
Maintain, repair and oversee overall the maintenance of generator & electrical system/power distribution and equipment within PNMB HQ areas according to policies and procedures
Establish a procedure and lead a team of technicians to independently perform the preventive and monthly maintenance work (plan schedules and executes preventive maintenance activities)
Maintain close relationships with panel of vendors in support of maintenance activities
Design contingency plan for major fault and temporary usage for any electrical system and equipment less/excluding production machines
Monitors maintenance budget and operating metrics while diagnosing and improves processes, procedures and performances of the generator and electrical maintenance activities
Supervise and monitor works of technicians and ensure compliance of regulatory/statutory bodies
Carry out regular inspections to facilitate and ensure all maintenance works are carried out in the most cost effective Test run and record the reading of the generator set system with and without load and ensure the system will operate
efficiently during any power disruption
Prepares and analyses production maintenance reports to aid in optimizing maintenance practices Ensures technical staff adheres to standard operating and safety procedures
Requirements:
Possess at least SPM or Diploma in Electrical will be an advantage Must have a valid Electrical Chargeman A4 – 1 Certificate
Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience with at least 2 years of working experience in handling Generator set Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both oral and written.
Highest level of personal and professional integrity.
Self-motivated, result oriented with high integrity and high enthusiasm. Able to work independently and good team player.
