Abstract
Gold is one type of metals which widely used by the whole society in Boyolali on many kinds type like jewelry and gold bar. There are many purity levels of gold also. Knowing about purity levels of gold is very important for the owner of gold and jewelry shop because it used to perform the business processes. The jewelry shop in Boyolali still using manual method to count the purity level of gold that is not efficient. Therefore, need an application system that can counting the purity levels of gold which can count faster, precise, efficient and easy to use. This system is a mobile application so it can be operated anywhere and anytime. The application was developed on Android mobile Operating System, using gold specific gravity method. This system is supported by real time gold price. The purpose of this system are to make the business processes of gold and jewelry shop in Boyolali can work easily, rights and efficient.
Abstrak
Emas merupakan salah satu logam yang banyak digunakan oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat di Boyolali dalam bentuk perhiasan maupun batangan. Kadar karat emas pun bermacam-macam. Dalam proses bisnis di toko emas, mengetahui kadar karat emas merupakan hal penting untuk memperlancar proses jual-beli emas. Metode penghitungan kadar emas di toko emas Boyolali masih menggunakan sistem manual sehingga kurang efisien. Maka dari itu dibutuhkan sebuah sistem yang dapat menghitung kadar emas dengan cepat, tepat, efisien dan mudah digunakan. Aplikasi yang dibangun merupakan mobile application agar aplikasi dapat dioperasikan dimana saja dan kapan saja. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan pada platform Android mobile OS, dan metode penghitungan kadar emas dengan menggunakan metode gold specific gravity. Aplikasi ini dilengkapi dengan informasi harga emas terbaru. Dengan dikembangkannya aplikasi berbasis mobile ini dapat membantu memperlancar proses bisnis di paguyuban toko emas Pasar Sunggingan Boyolali sehingga lebih efisien dan tepat.
