Dunia Arsitektur memang tak ada habisnya yang semakin terus menerus berkembang sehingga

menciptakan desain desain yang inovaf yang terkadang mereka meninggalkan unsur dari nilai sejarah itu

sendiri

BELAKANG

Baciro adalah sebuah kelurahan yang terletak di Kecamatan Gondokusuman, Kota Yogyakarta, Daerah

ismewa Yogyakarta. Kompleks ini dibangun atas inisiaf pemerintahan Hindia-Belanda berkaitan dengan

gempa besar yang sering terjadi di kawasan Jogja pada masa-masa itu. Pada kawasan baciro ini masih terdapat

banyak bangunan-bangunan bergaya indische yang kebanyakan dibangun pada era 1850-an. Hal itu sangat

berpotensi untuk menjadikan kawasan baciro sebagai salah satu kawasan desnasi bagi para wisatawan kota

Yogyakarta.

Didalam potensi Kawasan baciro yang menjadikan sebagai kawasan desnasi para wisatawan, ternyata

terdapat juga komunitas-komunitas yang berada di kawasan baciro, seper komunitas basket, komunitas

inlineskate, komunitas skateboard, komunitas bmx, komunitas seni gambar [graffity], komunitas panjat tebing,

dan komunitas tari.

Bebearapa komunitas dak memiliki wadah untuk melakukan akvitas mereka yang mana mereka

melakukanya di sembarang tempat, sehingga menyebabkan kerusakan dan lain sebagainya.

PROBLEMATIKA 

Tidak adanya fasilitas yang memadai untuk mereka

melakukan kegiatan bersama masing-masing

komunitas.

Karena lahan terbatas semua kegiatan dilakukan di

sembarang tempat salah satunya mural/coret-coret

tembok, sehingga merusak pemandangan dan

bangunan.

Di kawasan blok 2 terdapat banyak warung makan

atau penjual makan yang berjualan disepajang

trotoar, sehingga membuat dak nyaman para

pejalan kaki.

Bagaimana merancang bangunan yang bisa di gunakan

para komunitas untuk melakukan kegiatan mereka

bersama-sama.

Bagaimana merancang fasiltas yang mana para

penggunanya akan memaksimalkan fungsi dari fasilitas

fasilitas yang akan di sediakan.

Bagaimana merancang fasilitas komersial yang lebih

nyaman sehingga mewadahi para penjual dan warung

makan dak kembali berjualan di pinggir trotoar.

TEMA PERANCANGAN

HERITAGE Exploring The Heritage Baciro untuk menciptakan kawasan Baciro menjadi kawasan wisata budaya yang terintergrasi baik dengan bangunan pendukung di sekitarnya, karena di kawasan Baciro masih banyak terdapat bangunan belanda yang masih asli dan berpotensi menjadikan tujuan wisata baru serta untuk memecah penumpukan wisatawan yang ada di Yogyakarta.

  Untuk merespon dengan adanya kawasan wisata budaya dan sejarah, maka di butuhkan fasilitas fasilitas pendukung seper akomodasi tempat pariwisata berupa guest house, café, galeri, transit area, hunian agriculture, verkal housing dan community center.

Community center adalah tempat untuk mewadahi dan memfasilitasi komunitas-komunitas yang ada di daerah Baciro.

KONSEP BANGUNAN

Dengan tema awal EXPLORING THE HERITAGE BACIRO untuk menciptakan kawasan Baciro menjadi kawasan wisata budaya yang terintergrasi baik dengan bangunan pendukung di sekitarnya maka konsep bangunan untuk Community center sendiri akan menyatukan dari konsep bangunan arsitektur modern di mana akan menggunakan teknologi sekarang dengan bangunan tradisional yang memiliki ciri khas bangunan lamanya, sehingga bangunan community center ini menyatu dengan bangunan yang ada di sekitarnya.

The Cassie Campbell Community Center in Brampton creates a unique set of spaces for indoor and outdoor programming. Designed by Perkins+Will, the main program elements include a natatorium, indoor running track, gymnasium, and figure skang center of excellence, twinned wit h a community hockey rink. The program elements are expressed as a series of boldly canlevered gull wing roofs floang above masonry walls. These stone and block elements frame and organize the surrounding landscapes and outdoor program areas, which include a children’s play area, splash pad, basketball court, and entry plaza.

This new Performing Arts & Community Center has 41,250 square feet and consists of three (3) levels: lower level, main level and tech level. The lower level houses the orchestra pit li and some storage spaces. The main level houses the lobby, concessions, black box, auditorium and support spaces, public restrooms, interacve exhibit space, dressing rooms, classrooms and general offices. The facility’s management offices, dimming and audio controls offices, gallery access, catwalk and main HVAC equipment rooms are located on the technical level.

EFFEKT Wins Contest to Redevelop Abandoned Train Shed in Esbjerg with Streetmekka EFFE KT has been awarded first prize in a compeon to transform a disused train shed in Esbjerg, Denmark with their proposal to transform the roundhouse-style industrial structure into a home for skang and a host of other street culture acvies. Entled Streetmekka, the design restores the industrial shed’s original circular geometry, incorporang indoor facilies for transion and bowl skang, basketball courts, a street dance area, workshop areas for DJ-schools and street art as well as meeng rooms, administraon offices, a cafe, kitchen, changing rooms and a large social area and recepon. In the heart of the circular compound, the design features an enclosed street sport plaza and large outdoor social space.

Jewish Community Center / Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands

Against tough competors, such as Rafael Viñoly, Allford Hall Monaghan Morris and Foreign Office Architects, the compeon to design the Jewish Community Center was awarded to Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands. The 30,000 sqf JCC project will emphasize an arts and community center that aims to bring “light, life and acvity back to the street.” Situated on a heavily trafficked road, the JCC will include a three story linear pavilion that will create a “landscaped piazza and relate to the Camden Arts Center’s gardens” opposite the site.

The center’s varying programmac elements, such as the library, café, auditorium and screening room, classrooms, dance and rehearsal studios, nursery and offices, are arranged vercally with privacy increasing with each floor. The façade is fully glazed, and certain rooms are screened or open to galleries according to funcon. “Rooms are intermiently extended to the perimeter of the galleries giving arculaon to the façade,” explained the architects.

communies that surround it. Unique yet not foreign to its surroundings, Sunset Community Centre is an elegant and transparent building, carefully sited on a major thoroughfare to give the building visibility and accessibility to the community.

The Sunset Community Centre houses a preschool, gymnasium, exercise rooms and a host of other community acvies. These program areas each achieve a disnct formal identy through the undulang roof forms, which derive from the regarding of the site where excavated material was used to form a series of large scale rolling grassy berms. These curves are repeated on the interior where wood ceilings rise and fall to give shape to the gymnasium and other major rooms, creang a strong connecon to the exterior landscape.

Clayton Community Centre / Jackson Architecture

The Clayton Community Centre co-locates a Fitness and Aquac Centre, Library, Auditorium and Theatre, Youth and Family Services Centre, Maternal & Child Health facility along with Preschool and Arts facilies creang a dynamic ‘one-stop-shop’ for social and recreaonal services. Also included is a new community Medical and Dental clinic. The planning makes these facilies “legible” and encourages exploraon so that users of one facility may be aracted to others on offer. In this way the design seeks to engender a sense of community, ownership and pride.

The New Generaon Youth and Community Centre / RCKa

From the architect. Working closely with Lewisham Council, its partners and young people, RCKa developed proposals to sasfy a funding brief for a “world-class” building; from the use of innovave sustainable construcon and high-quality design to extensive parcipaon of young people, whose involvement connued through the detailed design, construcon, management and governance of the building and services.

Exposed structural mber forms and elegant coffered ceiling and wall finish, selected for its natural warmth and ability to resist post-tender D&B value-engineering. Clean lines and dramac open spaces aid security through natural surveillance, and result in a bright and vibrant inclusive i nternal atmosphere.

External cladding is unified by a gently undulang profile that casts vercal shadows across curtain-like elevaons. Reflecve foil-faced insulaon beneath polycarbonate creates a sunlight-responsive shimmering skin, beneath which is hung delicately faceted porcelain-like ultra-high performance concrete panels: an aracve, tacle and robust base to the building.
