Hegemoni Globalisme: Tantangan Pembangunan Ekonomi Berbasis Kerakyatan di Tengah Pusaran Globalisasi1

Abstract
Contemporar, Indonesian economic policy tends to neglect Pancasila and Constitution 1945. Though economic growth has increased significantly, inequality it remains huge. The aim of this researh is to seek answer why it happened. In doing so, this research applied the concept of globalism from the perspective of International Political Economy. The method used was cross-case study by using three cross-cases and employed mixed method to test globalism premises. The key argument of this research was that President SBY economic policy is characterized by outward looking policy. The cult of economic globalism disposes the economic nationalism. As a result, social welfare is marginalized by pursuit of trade liberalization and foreign investment as well as building robust global economy in multilateral forum. The only solution of the problem of Indonesian development is turning into nationalistic ideology which emphasize more on social welfare.
