FINANCIAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA AND THE GOVERNMENT

OF THE REPUBLIC OF ITALY

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Republic of Italy, in the spirit of their relations of friendship and economic cooperation, have agre-ed as follows:

ARTICLE I

The Italian Government,, in conformity with Aticle 12 of Law 131 of February 28th, 1967, shall authorize one or more Italian medium-term credit institutions, at their request, to

grant a financial credit of aproximately 6,2 billion (six thousands two hundred million) Italian lire to Bank Indonesia - acting for and on behalf of the Indonesian Government - for the consolidation and economic development of Indonesia.

Said financial credit will be able to benefit of the insu ranee guarantee provided for under the provisions of Italian law.

ARTICLE II

The

tunds

of the financial credit, granted under Article I, shall be put at the disposal of Bank Indonesia with an Italian Bank designated by Bank Indonesia ..

ARTICLE III

The financial credit, granted under Article I, shall be paid by Bank Indoneei6 in Italian lire on 30th day of June, 1973 .

-ARTICLE IV

Bank Indoneeia - ｡｣ｴｩｮ ｻｾ＠ for and on behalf of the Indo-nesian Government - shall make direct arrangements with the Ita-lian medium-term credit institutions regarding the terms and con ditione of the f i nancial credit contemplated in Article I.

ARTICLE V

The present Agreement ehall come into force as from the date of signature
