AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO

LOAN AGREEMENT

BETwEEN THE

REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA

AND THE

UNITED STA'rES OF AMERICA

FOR

Cl'rANDUY II

Dated: September 23, 1985

This AMENDMENT NO. 3, is entered into between the REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA. ("Borrower") and the UtH'fED STATES OF Al'1ERICA, acting through the AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ("A.I.D.").

WHEREAS, the Borrower and A.I.D. entered into a Loan Agreement designated as Citanduy II, A.I.D. Project No. 497-0281, Loan No. 497-·r-063, on September 29, 1980 ("Loan Agreement"), whereby A.I.D. agreed to lend to the Borrower up to Twelve Million United States

("U.S.") Dollars ($12,000,000) ("Loan");

WHEREAS, the Borrower and A.I.D. amended the Loan Agreement on June 10, 1982 and on February 2, 1983, thereby increasing the Loan

to $18,600,000; and

WHEREAS, the Borrower and A.I.D. agree the amount of the Loan may be reduced by $4,000,000;

NOW _{THEREFORE, the Borrower and A.I.D. hereby agree as follows:}

1. The first paragraph of Section 3.1. of the Loan Agreement is revised to read as follows:

"Section 3.1. The Loan. To assist the Borrower to meet the costs of carrying out the Project, A.I.D., pursuant to the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 , as amended, agrees to lend the Borrower

under the terms of this Agreement not to exceed Fourteen Million Six Hundred Thousand United States ("U.S.") Dollars ($14,600,000)

("Loan"). The aggregate amount of disbursements under the Loan is

-2. A revised financial plan is attached hereto as Annex I to this Amendment.

3. Except as hereinabove expressly amended, the Loan Agreement js ratified, confirmed and continued jn full force and effect in accordance with all of j ts terms.

IN VHTNESS WHEREOF, the Borrower and the United States of America, each acting through its respective duly authorized

representative, have caused this Amendment No. 3 to be signed jn

their names and delivered as of the day and year first above written.
