 He worked as a Statistics Office staff of the Sub District Uatolari & a statistics officer accumulating the role as the Sub district Census and Survey coordinator in 1993 -1999;  During the period of 2000 – 2006, as a temporary civil

servant at the DNE he worked in different roles, as follows:  Over 9 months in 2000 he worked as a statistics assistant of

ETTA;

 Over 6 months in 2001 he worked as an Enumerator of the Timor Leste Poverty Survey;

 Teacher of Mathematics in the Junior High School in 2003 – 2004;

 Data entry officer assistant responsible for the Commercial Statistics, 2003 – 2004;

 Officer assistant responsible for the Commerce: Export and Import 2004 – 2006.
