CHAPTER IV
CONCLUSION
Based on the observation and interviews that have been done before in in Le Beringin Hotel Salatiga, the writer draw conclusions about receptionist and also gives some suggestions for the hotel and future observation.
The conclusions that the writer has about receptionist are:
a. The theories about hotel, especially front office staff (receptionist) that have got in class before are very helpfull the writer in doing the observation and interviews.
b. In fact, some of those theories are match with the fact in work field. The matching theories are about hotel facilities in front office desk and receptionist attitudes. Besides that, there are several missing theories there. For examples are about organization chart of front office and receptionist’s work time. They are commonly happened everywhere. c. The writer thinks that the missing theories are happened because they are
influenced by several factors, i.e. the hotel type (belongs to what stars hotel), hotel needed, and the hotel management.
The writer also gives some suggestions for the hotel and the university. First, for Le Beringin Hotel Salatiga, it should be better if the management encourage the

receptionists for using English actively when they serve foreign guest. They will look so perceptive in handling the guest.
