This building is located in front of the Technical Faculty in UI Campus Depok. Every undergraduate student who is in the UI Depok dormitory has the right to stay in the dormitory for one year (1st and 2nd semester). The symbol of the Universitas Indonesia Student Association (IKM UI) is the Makara Universitas Indonesia with the inscription IKATAN KELUARGA MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS INDONESIA in black.
The requirements to become a member of the DPM UI are regulated within the IKM UI laws. Chairman and Vice-Chairman of BEM UI are directly elected as a couple by members of the IKM UI in a general election of Universitas Indonesia. Submit the application through the Head of Faculty with a recommendation from the Associate Dean of Student Affairs. A notification letter from the Faculty's Assistant Dean of Student Affairs to the Directorate of Student Affairs. Every student registered at Universitas Indonesia for each current semester (participating in academic activities) will also be registered as a PT insurance member.

Metallurgy and materials engineering is a discipline that studies production, characterization, material selection and engineering design (engineering materials). MSc curriculum in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials designed to provide opportunities for students to be able to design, select and develop metallurgical processes and materials technology, new materials characterization / modifications and be able to control damage / degradation of material due to media and the environment through corrosion protection techniques and material selection. FTUI Doctoral Program Graduates have the skills to demonstrate expansion, innovation breakthroughs in research in the field of engineering or architecture according to a particular stream or sub-stream. The goal of doctoral program in FTUI is in accordance with doctoral program of Universitas Indonesia, to produce quality graduates with the following competence:. The curriculum for the PhD program on all programs is the same, they are only differentiated by their codes for the research part.
Learning objectives: Course participants are expected to: (a) master the scientific work process based on philosophy of science, which is the scientific reasoning aspects, innovative aspects and scientific ethical aspects, (b) able to write a research proposal and or draft of scientific writing related to the student's Ph .d.-topic, (c) can map research results from the latest international journal in their field and understand the state-of-the-art from their research topic, and can determine the knowledge gap yet to be explored at the international level for further research in their doctoral program. The research group's periodical seminar is an early research activity in the PhD program in research, where students carry out literature studies in relation to the materials for their research. The final goal was that the students have a state-of-the-art understanding of their research topic, and can determine the knowledge gap that was previously unexplored at an international level for further research in their doctoral program.

The publication must list the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia as one of the affiliated institutions. The advancement examination is carried out by the Advancement Examination Commission, which is appointed by the Rector's decree on the proposal of the head of the department and the dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia. The committee for the advanced examination consists of: (a) promotor and co-promoter, (b) examiners, (c) at least one examiner from outside Universitas Indonesia.
In special circumstances, an expert who is not from the academic community may be invited as part of the examiner team. The Promotion Examination is led by the Head of the Examination Committee, who is also a member of the committee other than the Supervisor/Co-Promoter and external examiner. If the head of the examination committee is absent, his/her position can be replaced by a member of the examiners' team.
The locations for these workstations are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Engineering Center Building. Research funds including consumables and tests for research as part of the thesis and dissertation are the responsibility of the student. Each proposer must be the first author of the article and include an institutional affiliation in Indonesia.
