•Thesespots are probably notalwayspresent, asthey arean inconstant feature inother formsof thisgenus.
+ This purplishhueismore pronouncedin freshlygrownfeathers,and afew such occuramongthe posteriorscapularsand proximalgreaterwing-coverts.
