species.Female.
Length
about1.75mm. Varying
shades of green, blue, and purplish, the faceand
rear of head largely reddish testaceous;pronotum, axilla?,
and
scutellum orange, suffused anteriorly with brown; scapewhitish, rest ofantennaedark brown,firstjoint of funicle shorterthan pedicel; alljoints of funicle slightly longer than wide, antennal depression deep, sharplymarked
semi-circular, reaching abouthalfway up
scape,abovethisthe facewithfineshallow thimble- like punctures, at sides ofantennalfossabecoming more
like reticu-lations; ocelli inan equilateraltriangle, the lateral ones about their
own
widthfrom
eyes; cheeks finely reticulated with raised lines;mesoscutum
very finely longitudinally lineolate, withasilky lustre, and withmany
silver-white hairs; scutellum with thimble-likepunc- tures; apical tuft black; wings, exceptthe hyaline bases, strongly in- fuscated, the infuscationdecreasing graduallytoward
tips of wings;front and hind legs basally translucent whitish, front legs
beyond
middleoffemora
light brownish; middle legs brownish, their tarsi whitish; hindfemora
and tibiae brown, the tarsi whitish;abdomen

Similar to the female; the antennal de- pression not well marked, the sculpture coarser, especially in meso- scutum,where
anteriorly it isfinely longitudinallyruguloseand
pos- teriorly reticulatewith fine rugulaa; entire insect varying shadesof metallic withmore
greenish than in female; hairs ofmesoscutum weaker
andlessnumerous
and therefore not so apparent;wings
only slightlyinfuscated, withadeeply infuscated spot at marginal vein;scape whitish, rest ofantennae light
brown;
front and middle legs whitish, the apicalpartsomewhat
brownish; hindfemora
