ABSTRACT
The Affecting Factors of the Performance Entrepreneur Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Kota Padangsidimpuan.

Entrepreneurship performance is considered as one of important factors in determining the quality of production. From the research it was found that the entrepreneurship performance at Kota Padangsidimpuan is not as it should be. This conditions was presumed to be effected by several factor two of wich concidered to be more dominant, namely entrepreneur and capiatal work.
Therefore, this research was as far as to investigate the effect of entrepreneur and capital work toward entrepreneur performance. Three hypotesis were proposed, namely: (1) the entrepreneur effect toward entrepreneur perpormance; (2) capital work effect toward entrepreneur perpormance;
and (3) entrepreneur and capital work, simultancously effect toward entrepreneur performance.
The population of the research were 637 of entrepreneurship Micro, Small and Medium in Kota Padangsidimpuan, in which 86 of them were selected as sample by using stratified proportional sampling technique. Data from three variables were collected by using Likert model and ratio model questionaries which were already tested their validity and reliability. The collected data were analyzed statisticaly by using double regression techniques with the use of SPSS version 17.
From the analysis it was found that: (1) the entrepreneur significantly effect 2,94% toward entrepreneurship performance, (2) the capital work significantly effect 48,15% toward entrepreneurship performance, (3) the entrepreneur and capital work significantly effect 58,19%
simultancously toward entrepreneurship performance. The conclution of this research that entrepreneurship performance and capital work effect toward entrepreneurship in Kota Padangsidimpuan with self or together. Suggeted in order improve the entrepreneur micro, small and medium by improve entrepreneur and capital work of the entrepreneurship and the practice of transformational principals.

Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Kinerja Pengusaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah di Kota Padangsidimpuan.

Kinerja pengusaha dianggap sebagai salah satu faktor yang menentukan dalam kegiatan produksi di perusahaan baik usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah. Dalam pengamatan sementara terlihat bahwa kinerja pengusaha mikro, kecil dan menengah di Kota Padangsidimpuan masih kurang optimal. Kondisi ini diduga dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya adalah: jiwa wirausaha dan modal kerja pengusaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan sejauhmana pengaruh kedua variabel bebas tersebut terhadap kinerja pengusaha. Tiga hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Jiwa wirausaha berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pengusaha mikro, kecil dan menengah di Kota Padangsidimpuan, (2) Modal kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pengusaha mikro, kecil dan menengah di Kota Padangsidimpuan, (3) Jiwa wirausaha dan Modal kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pengusaha mikro, kecil dan menengah di Kota Padangsidimpuan
Populasi penelitian ini adalah 637 pengusaha Mikro, kecil dan menengah di Kota Padangsidimpuan. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 86 pengusaha yang diambil dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin dan teknik Stratified Proportional Random Sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kueisioner model Skala Likert dan skala ratio, kemudian diolah dengan teknik regresi berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 17.
Hasil analisis penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa: (1) Jiwa wirausaha berpengaruh signifikan 2,94% terhadap kinerja pengusaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah, (2) Modal Kerja berpengaruh signifikan 48,15 terhadap kinerja pengusaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah, (3) Jiwa wirausaha dan Modal Kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan 58,19% terhadap Kinerja pengusaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa jiwa wirausaha dan modal kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pengusaha mikro, kecil dan menengah di Kota Padangsidimpuan baik sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama-sama, disarankan dalam upaya meningkatkan kinerja pengusaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah, maka perlu meningkatkan jiwa wirausaha melalui pelatihan-pelatihan kewirausahaan dan ketersediaan modal kerja demi tercapainya tujuan perusahaan.
