Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tata letak fasilitas produksi pada proses produksi mie Usaha Dagang (UD) Sumber Rezeki Kota Makassar.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu suatu penelitian yang dimaksudkan untuk mengumpulkan data dan informasi tentang suatu gejala dan fakta terhadap obyek dan tempat penelitian sesuai dengan apa adanya pada saat penelitian berlangsung. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Usaha Dagang (UD) Sumber Rezeki di Kota Makassar dengan memilih 3 informan yang dianggap representative mewakili kelompoknya yang terdiri dari 1 orang sebagai pemilik usaha sekaligus sebagai manager produksi yang dijadikan sebagai informan kunci dan 2 orang karyawan pada bagian teknisi dan bagian proses produksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Tata letak fasilitas produksi yang digunakan pada pabrik tersebut adalah tata letak garis artinya fasilitas yang digunakan saling berkaitan satu sama lain dari satu tahap ke tahap berikutnya sampai dengan tahap akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan tata letak garis pada proses produksi mampu memperlancar proses produksi sehingga dapat menjamin kulaitas dan efektifitas proses produksi

This research aims to know the layout of production facilities on the production process of mie trading Venture (UD) source of Sustenance Makassar city. This type of research is used in this research is descriptive qualitative study, a study that is intended to collect data and information about the symptoms and facts against the object and place the appropriate research with what it is at the time of the research underway. The research was carried out on a trading Venture (UD) source of Sustenance in Makassar city by selecting 3 informants deemed representative representing his group consisting of 7 people as well as business owners who serve as production manager key informant and 2 employees on the part of the technician and the production process. Data collection techniques used in this study is an in-depth interview technique, observation and documentation. The layout of the production facilities used in the factory is the layout of the line means that the facilities used inter-related to each other from one stage to the next stage up to the final stage. The results showed that by using the layout lines on the production process was able to streamline the production process so that it can run effectively in addition the quality of the product more secure.
