MANCARA RAHAJENG, 45150072, 2018, “Makna Nongkrong Di Coffee Shop” (Studi Fenomenologi Makna Nongkrong Di Coffee Shop Bagi Remaja Kota Bandung).
Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pemaknaan kaum remaja terhadap kegiatan nongkrong di coffee shop dengan menggunakan teori fenomenologi dari Alfred Schutz. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kegiatan observasi, dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat sepuluh motif kaum remaja melakukan kegiatan nongkrong di coffee shop yaitu berkumpul bersama teman, mencari ketenangan, menyelesaikan keperluan pekerjaan, berkenalan dengan owner, menikamati kopi manual brew, reuni dengan teman sekolah, melakukan meeting, berfoto, berkenalan dengan owner coffee shop. Kegiatan nongkrong bagi kaum remaja di Kota Bandung merupakan sebagai makna quality time bersama sahabat dan kekasih, membangun relasi, mencari pengetahuan baru, intropeksi diri, hingga menjadi tempat yang nyaman seperti dirumah.

MANCARA RAHAJENG, 45150072, 2018, “The meaning of hanging out at the coffee shop” (Phenomenology Study of the Meaning of Hanging Out in Coffee Shops for Teenagers in the City of Bandung).
This study describes the meaning of adolescents to hang out in a coffee shop by using the phenomenological theory of Alfred Schutz. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, and in-depth interviews. The results of this study indicate that there are ten motives of adolescents to hang out in a coffee shop, gathering with friends, looking for peace, completing work needs, getting acquainted with the owner, enjoying a coffee brew manually, reuniting with school friends, having meetings, taking pictures, getting acquainted with coffee shop owner. Hanging out activities for teenagers in the city of Bandung is a meaning of quality time with friends and lovers, building relationships, seeking for new knowledge, self-introspection, and a comfortable place like own home.
