The main purpose of this study was to determine the pros and cons of the coal-fired power plant according to the people who lived in the vicinity of coal-fired power plant. This controversial issues may have great impact in the economy and health issues. For the people who lived directly affected of the coal-fired power plant said that the operations of coal-fired in their place provide more advantage that disadvantage. For them the advantages focused on the financial support from the coal fired power plant. Scholarships and free medication serve as advantages also.
