CHAPTER I INTRODUCTION
1.1 THE BACKGROUND
Advertising is one example of the use of language in life daily. In advertising, the most effective sayings or words for describe and express the idea to be conveyed so that there is a common interpretation between the advertiser and the target clan, so that the goal can be achieved. The specificity of this type of advertising, among others creative and interesting, therefore this type of advertising is needed the right ad design and produce interesting ad. Ads can be supported by demonstrating the ad model with message delivery varies widely.
Advertising is a message that offers a product aimed at the public through a medium.
Wrong ad a form of communication consisting of information and ideas about something products aimed at audiences simultaneously to get good welcome.
Advertising seeks to inform, persuade, and convincing. When compared to other forms of communication, clan is a communication tool used in the world trade by producers to consumers who earn more prospects at lower cost, in less time, while the impact will last longer in the viewer's memory.
The form of advertising can be in the form of pictures, photos and words, even a combination of the two. Remembering that advertisements are in the form of pictures or photos without accompanying explanatory words will be difficult to understand the target consumers of the advertisement, we assume that in advertising, there are several forms of advertising that can be interesting too describe and express the idea to be conveyed so that there is a common interpretation between the advertiser and the target ad, so that the goal can be achieved.
1.2 PROBLEM FORMULATION
Based on the background stated above, the problem can be formulated as follows:
1. What forms or types of advertising are known?
2. Is there a significant influence between what form of advertisement will be displayed?
2. Of the various forms of advertising, which one is the most interesting?

1. Provide information about the products and services being sold.
2. Reminding people about the existence of these products and services.

2.1 BROCHURE
A. Definition Of Brochure
A brochure is a flyer, pamphlet or leaflet that is used to pass on
information about something. Brochures advertise items mainly used to introduce a company or organisation and inform about products and/or services to a targeted audience. Brochures are distributed or handed personally or placed in brochure racks. They are usually also present near tourist attractions.
B. Function Of Brochure
1. To inform potential consumers related to the company or also the products or services that will be offered.
2. As an advertising tool or promotional tool, which is attractive and also possible to promote one or more products or services.
3. To maintain the same criteria and concepts as through all company brochures or products or services that are owned.

D. Characteristic Of Brochure
1. Generally there is a single message.
2. The aim is to be able to inform, educate, and also persuade or influence a person or customer to buy or adopt the message conveyed.

5. Distributed separately by the maker of a brochure.
F. Strength Of Brochure
1. Promotional designs can be made more attractive and messages more specific.
2. Cheaper costs and can be printed according to the number of intended target consumers.
3. Results are more effective when shared with consumers who need company product information.
G. Weakness Of Brochure
1. It becomes unattractive if brochures are received by consumers who don't need them or are not target consumers.

Leaflets are small sheets of paper containing information which is usually used for advertising or marketing purposes, or for supplementary
information on a product.

1. As a means of promotion, information, identification.
2. As a brief profile of a business.
3. As a corporate or brand identity.
C. Purpose Of Leaflet
In general, the main function of a leaflet is as a tool to advertise a product, service, business, as well as an activity or event to be held, to target customers or audiences in an area.
D. Characteristic Of Leaflet
1. The design consists of two front pages, which are designed according to the shape of the folded paper.
2. Information brief, solid, clear.
3. The information submitted includes: logo, product/company, complete address, and program.
4. The image shown corresponds to the information on the leaflet.
5. Typical image layouts are directed as field fillers to pursue composition.
6. Bright colours to make readers more excited to read the leaflet.
7. Small printed sheets of paper.

It takes precision and accuracy in designing pamphlets. This is because, with a bad pamphlet design can be fatal for the image of the product or company.

A flyer or flier, also called a circular, handbill or leaflet, is a form of paper advertisement intended for wide distribution and typically posted or distributed in public places or through the mail. A flyer is usually used to promote goods or services, such as restaurants or shops, political campaign activities on behalf of a political party or candidate, or to advertise an event, such as a music concert, festival, or political rally. Flyers are a low-cost form of mass marketing or communication.
B. Function Of Flyer

4. It is easy to circulate widely.

Flyer Creation Objectives In a business, flyers are used to make a strong first impression, connect with new prospects, and get potential customers to know the brand and services. In addition, flyers are a tool for conveying the contact information of a service or product business, thereby increasing the chances of connecting with its recipients.
D. Characteristic Of Flyer
1. Using short, concise and clear language.
2. It must be persuasive, meaning that it contains an invitation to do the thing contained in the pamphlet, for example buying a certain product.
3. Clearly written for easy reading.

2. Readers are required to have a high imagination in order to enjoy and understand it.
3. The printed version of the leaflet is easily damaged.

CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION
3.1 Conclusion
Advertising is a communication process that has very important strengths as a marketing tool that helps sell goods, provide services, as well as ideas or ideas through certain channels in the form of persuasive information.
A new advertising message can be said to be effective if the message is able to describe exactly what the communicator wants to the audience.
According to the purpose of the problem, we will conclude that there are 4 types of advertisement that we know, namely brochures, leaflets, pamphlets, and flyers.
In making this creativity, it will make people more interested in reading.
Because the ad is very different from the previous ad.
Of the four advertisements, there are several that attract the attention of the public. Leaflets and pamphlets, because these two advertisements can be made creative as well as complete information. The difference between the two is that the leaflet is to provide brief information regarding a particular business entity or company. While the pamphlet aims to provide information on something, not only for promotion.
If you really want to make a promotion, you can use brochures because brochures are only for promotion.

To complete this paper, we will provide some suggestions that might help fill in the gaps. Are as follows:
If advertising is made creatively, it will have a good effect on society.
