These clauses lead the present researcher to analyze the written language used that describes the components of transitivity. He then explains the clauses to define the language used in Al Jazeera and New York Post editorials over questions about the Soleimani assassination. This chapter presents the findings of an analysis of transitivity and its components taken from three editorials of each newspaper, particularly Al Jazeera and the New York Post.

The selected editorials based on the issues of the killing of Soleimani, those people who were affected and the situation that happened after the assassination, focusing on the language used that was written in both newspaper editorials and the way the writer or editor gives the information. The analysis of the clauses written in Al Jazeera and New York Post Editorials is presented based on the distribution in each component of the transition such as process, participant and circumstances.

The Frequency of Transitivity Components

This study aims to reveal the language used around the Soleimani assassination issues in three editorials in Al Jazeera and New York Post newspaper editorials by adopting Halliday's transitivity process. Location was the most dominant circumstance; it reaches 56.2% at Al Jazeera and 73.6% at the New York Post.
