Continuing a Wellsville tradition, Music On The Lawn will be on the David A. Howe Public Library lawn
on Thursday evenings in July and August. All of the concerts will begin at 7 p.m. and are free of charge.
The David A. Howe Public Library is located at 155 N. Main St. in Wellsville.

This week join us for a traditional town band that brings visions of a Norman Rockwell event to Wellsville. Under the direction of Dr. Christopher Foster, director of the Symphonic and Jazz Bands of Alfred University, 25 musicians compose The Alfred Village Band.
On Thursday evening, July 31 at 7 p.m. they will play a variety of traditional marches, pops, blues, jazz, and more, featuring music of John Williams and Dave Brubeck.
The group was formed in the early 1950s and can be heard on Wednesday evenings in July at the Alfred Gazebo. Always willing to share the musical experience, new band members of all ages are welcome.
The Music On The Lawn Committee has selected a variety of musical programs, ranging from country to band to rock and more. The performances are sponsored by a variety of local businesses and organizations. The newly formed Committee welcomes additional members.
The series continues:
Aug. 7 - ZOAR
Aug. 14 - Cort Dunham & Co.
