The Summer Break exodus from the Alfred University campus is generally the time of year when belongings seem to disappear if rooms, offices, and cars that are not locked. Please take an extra moment to lock all rooms, offices and vehicles. If you see an suspicious activity please report it immediately to the Office of Public Safety at 607-871-2108 or 911.

Summer 2017 Hours Announced
Starting Monday, May 15 and continuing through Friday, Aug. 11 the University will again follow a summer work schedule.
Official summer business hours for offices will be 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please speak with your supervisor for your department's schedule.
Should you have any questions, please contact Mark Guinan in the Human Resources Department.

Have You Done Your Survey Yet?
The Alfred University Employee Survey administered by ModernThink is in its last week and we are having a great response. As of Friday we were at 51% participation which is great but we would like to have more. If you have not completed your survey questionnaire on line or if you need access to a computer please come to the Human Resources/Payroll Office in Greene Hall where you can participate in private. The results of the survey will allow the Administration to see where we are doing well and where we need improvement. Your participation is vital so if you have submitted Thank You and if not It Is Not Too Late!

Bone Marrow Donor Registry Drive a Success
The athletic department and the football program would like to thank everyone that came out to support our first annual bone marrow registration drive. Thanks to the hard work of so many people, it was definitely a huge success. Altogether, we had 210 registrations. We are unbelievably grateful to everyone who came out to volunteer and register.

This is a reminder that Summertime here on campus is a very busy season filled with many different programs including summer term classes, academic and sports camps (day and residential), sports clinics, conferences, weddings, receptions, and other special meetings and events.
If you are planning to hold a summer program, event or activity on campus and have not already notified the Office of Summer Programs, please do so as soon as possible. It is important that you contact us to check on space availability prior to confirming any events that will take place between May 15 and Aug. 11, 2017.
We maintain a master summer calendar and will work with everyone involved to avoid scheduling conflicts.
Your understanding and cooperation are much appreciated. We look forward to another busy, successful summer!
