RESEARCH METHOD
Research Design
This research is a descriptive-qualitative research, specifically in the form of case studies in the classroom and to identify the use of English in the classroom. In the classroom, the display of interactions involving human behavior in the natural environment, researchers decide to use a qualitative approach to learning. As stated by Nunan, qualitative methods, attention with an understanding of the human behavior of the actors themselves as a frame of reference, exploratory, descriptive and process-oriented.19.
The researcher conducted this research in the first three ways by making recorded observations and that will be the main source.
Data and Data Source
During the lecture it was clear that when the teacher explained to the students of class VII B Seemingly enthusiastic in participating in the English lesson and was sitting regularly with a view calmly pointing from the front of the class. During the learning process, students continue to pay attention to what is explained by the teacher. In teaching and learning activities, there is a two-way interaction, because when the teacher asks about the news, one student answers, then the other two students also answer.
Then the teacher responds to the student's answer again and returns to the question of whether the students are ready to learn English. The answers given by students can be well responded by the teacher by saying thanks to Alhamdulillah. Based on observations made during teaching and learning activities in class VII B, students respond to what the teacher talks about in response to a question related to the material learned that day.
In this category, two-way interactions occur as a result of communication that occurs as a result of communication between the teacher and students who act as the giver of the action and the receiver of the action. Student Volunteers (PV) is an activity in which one of the students asks questions and expresses opinions without instructions and instructions from the teacher. Based on the results of observations on learning activities of English in class VII B, this activity occurs when the teacher gives questions to students and then students raise their hands without any instructions or instructions from the teacher to answer these questions.
Teacher: "Okay, class leader, please get ready (Lecture to teacher (TL.3) Student 1 : „‟Yes sir. Wiliing, greet the teacher) „‟(Students' responses (PR.12) Students :"AssalamualaikumWarrohmatullahiWabarroka 'sfih" (Ubarrokatuhsfih) the answer is included in the activity of the teacher to answer the students either by praising, joking, accepting or developing the characteristics of the students. It is seen that when one student answers the teacher's question, then the other student answers related to the material.
The interactions that occur in this category are two-way because they deal with only two people, the teacher and the students, without any comments or objections from other students. Based on Brown's seven categories, the category that tends to appear in Grade VII C English learning is the Teacher Questions (TQ) category, that is, the teacher is more dominant in asking students questions, the interaction that occurs is two-way. interaction.
Techniques for Collecting Data
Instruments
In a lecture, the teacher not only conveys information to the students, but also explains it, directs and narrates it in more detail. Based on the quote above, it can be seen that when the teacher explains the learning material in the core learning activities, there is a two-way interaction, because in the category of teacher lectures (TL), the teacher does not only explain the learning material Finally, the teacher asks a question to the student and then one of the students answers the question , then the teacher responds to the students' answers by adding and expanding on the answers. The students looked excited when the teacher asked them about the mer eka news before the start of the study, not only one of the students answered, but other students participated in answering the teacher's questions.
Student response is an activity that students do by answering the questions from the teacher, the class questions, or the students' questions to the teacher to ask for further explanation. In the learning process this category always when the teacher explains the lesson, then give questions to the students to remember, evaluate or understand the synthesis or any kind of other questions. Cognitive questions are questions that the teacher gives to students with the purpose of testing students' knowledge, understanding, and opinions about the material being studied.
The interactions that occur in this category occur in two ways, because there are students who ask questions and the teacher answers the students, so there is a reciprocal relationship between two people where the teacher is the information giver and the student is the information receiver. Student Responses (PR) is an activity performed by students to answer questions given by the teacher, questions of other students or classmates, as well as students' questions to the teacher to obtain detailed information. Language learning on the main activities of English in class VII C, the teacher asked some questions to the students about this issue today. answer these questions so that students' answers appear when the teacher asks questions in class.
Based on my Tipan above, it shows that one of the students raised her hand and answered the questions without the teacher's order, which is very good because the students in the learning process had to be pushed to be more active and independent without any instructions or instructions from the teacher. While in Grade VII C, in the first and second meetings, the categories that usually appear in English learning activities are teacher questions (TQ) categories, it can be observed in the initial activities, core activities and final learning activities. TQ) the interaction that occurs is a two-way interaction, a two-way interaction is an interaction that has restrictions on the interaction that is limited only to the teacher and students individually and between students to each other is limited to between the teacher and students individually, between students to each other students, so the class becomes more effective. This is in accordance with Sardiman's opinion, which explains. While the category of teacher questions (TQ) occurs in English learning in Class VII C, that is, teachers dominate speaking such as asking questions, and the interactions that occur are also two-way.
Technique of Data Analysis
RESEARCH FINDINGS

Teacher : "Well, before we start learning today, let's pray together first, please lead the class for god." (Teacher Lectures (TL.1). Based on observations made during the first meeting while English was taught in class VII. Therefore, two-way interactions dominate during learning activities this more in accordance with the material and skills to be achieved. Interactions that take place have a close relationship with the characteristics of the material and the skills that students need to acquire after learning is completed.
The characteristics of the learning material in groups VII B and VII C are different, as are the skills to be acquired, but also the interactions that dominate the learning process in both classes.
