Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hambatan keterlaksanaan praktikum IPA pada masa pandemi covid-19 di SMP Negeri se-Kota Tanjungpinang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru IPA dan siswa SMP Negeri se-kota Tanjungpinang dengan sampel 28 guru IPA dan 185 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan hasil persentase angket hambatan guru yang melaksanakan praktikum IPA secara daring dengan nilai 69,39% dengan kategori menghambat. Sedangkan pada hasil persentase angket hambatan siswa yang melaksanakan praktikum IPA secara daring dengan nilai 79,25% dengan kategori menghambat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian keempat indikator menunjukkan bahwa pada persentase indikator yang tertinggi dengan nilai 86,06% dikategorikan sangat menghambat, terdapat pada persiapan praktikum, sedangkan pada persentase indikator yang terendah dengan nilai 59,40% dikategorikan cukup menghambat, terdapat pada evaluasi praktikum.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut guru dan siswa mengalami hambatan dalam melaksanakan praktikum IPA secara daring atau online yaitu sarana dan prasarana yang terbatas karena kegiatan pelaksanaan praktikum IPA pada masa pandemi covid-19 dilakukan dirumah masing-masing, ketersediaan waktu pelaksanaan praktikum IPA secara daring tidak mencukupi dan masih kurangnya motivasi guru dan siswa dalam keterlaksanaan praktikum IPA secara daring. Hambatan lain dalam keterlaksanaan praktikum IPA secara daring adalah alat dan bahan yang terbatas, guru tidak bisa membimbing siswa secara langsung, serta metode praktikum yang tidak variatif.

This study aims to determine the obstacles to implementing science practicum during the covid-19 pandemic in public junior high schools throughout Tanjungpinang City. This study uses a descriptive type of research with a quantitative approach. The population of this study were science teachers and students of public junior high schools in Tanjungpinang with a sample of 28 science teachers and 185 students. The sampling technique used was random sampling technique. The data collection instrument used teacher and student questionnaires.
The results of the study are based on the results of the percentage of teacher obstacle questionnaires who carry out science practicum online with a value of 69.39% in the inhibiting category. Meanwhile, in the results of the questionnaire the percentage of obstacles students who carry out science practicum online with a value of 79.25% in the category of inhibiting. Based on the results of the study, the four indicators showed that the highest percentage of indicators with a value of 86.06% was categorized as very inhibiting, found in practicum preparation, while the lowest percentage indicator with a value of 59.40% was categorized as quite inhibiting, found in practicum evaluation. Based on the results of the analysis, teachers and students experience obstacles in carrying out science practicums online or online, namely limited facilities and infrastructure because science practicum activities during the covid-19 pandemic are carried out at their respective homes, the availability of time for online science practicums is insufficient and there is still a lack of motivation of teachers and students in the implementation of online science practicum. Other obstacles in implementing science practicum online are limited tools and materials, teachers cannot guide students directly, and practicum methods are not varied.
