Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai pendidikan karakter dalam buku pantun melayu karya agus wijanarko. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa dokumentasi atau pustaka, setelah dilakukan penelitian hasil yang di teliti hanya pantun anak-anak dan terdapat sepuluh (10) jenis nilai pendidikan karakter dalam buku pantun karya Agus Wijanarko dalam pantun bersuka cita dan pantun berduka cita. Adapun dalam pantun besuuka cita terdapat tujuh (6) nilai pendidikan karakter dan di pantun berduka cita terdapat tiga (4) pantun dalam patun bersuka cita yaitu nilai pendidikan karakter yang relegius, nilai pendidikan karakter yang jujur, nilai pendidikan karakter yang toleransi, nilai pendidikan karakter yang disiplin, nilai pendidikan karakter yang kerja keras, nilai pendidikan karakter yang kreatif, pantun berduka cita nilai pendidikan karakter yang rasa ingin tahu, nilai pendidikan karakter yang komunikatif, nilai pendidikan karakter yang cinta damai, nilai pendidikan karakter yang gemar membaca.

This study aims to describe the value of character education in the Malay rhyme book by Agus Wijanarko. In this study using descriptive qualitative research methods, namely describing a symptom, event and incident that occurred whose results are described in the form of a research report. The research instrument is the researcher himself. In addition, other tools in this research are stationery and books that support the research being carried out. The data collection technique in this study is in the form of documentation or literature, after researching the results, the results are only children's poems and there are ten (10) types of character education values in Agus Wijanarko's rhyme book in rhymes with joy and rhymes with sorrow. As for the mourning poem, there are seven (7) values of character education and in the mourning poem there are three (3) poems in the mourning poem, namely the value of religious character education, the value of honest character education, the value of tolerant character education, and the value of character education. disciplined, hard-working character education values, creative character education values, curiosity character education values, communicative character education values, peace-loving character education values, character education values who like to read.
