Omission is the absence of an item that must appear in the sentence to construct a correct sentence. In the later stages of second language learning, when the learner has already absorbed certain target language rules, addition errors are common. Kuntjara, "Types of Grammatical Errors in the Essays Written by Fourth-Semester Students of the English Department, Petra Christian University," Language, Linguistic 1, no.
The verb eat, for example, is eaten rather than eaten; the word sheep is equivalent to sheep in the plural, rather than sheep. Malformation occurs when the wrong form of an element is used in the correct place of a sentence, which is shown when students choose the wrong phoneme, morpheme, structure or vocabulary. Then they insert the wrong form where they should put the correct form in the sentence.
While omission errors result in no item being presented, malformation errors result in the learner providing something even if it is inaccurate. Regularizations, archiforms and alternating forms are the three most common types of deformities recorded in the literature to date29. 30 Erlangga et al., “An Analysis of Grammatical Errors Made by Seventh Grade Students of Smp Negeri 2 Sukawati in Writing Descriptive Texts in the Academic Year Language and Education Journal Undiksha 2, no.
The dog chased its tail." (The noun dog performs the action of the verb chase.) "Mary reads a book every week." (The adjective Mary performs the action of the verb read.)36 . 7) Fragmented Sentence. Some students may lose interest for the teacher's teaching and learning process in the classroom. So from the description above, it can conclude that when writing a descriptive text, the writer must be able to explore the idea in the text to make a good description, and the reader can feel the object in it descriptive text.
However, additional senses such as smell, hearing, touch and taste can also be useful in the description. Where the writer stops in the process is determined by (1) the writer's purpose in writing the description, (2) the effect he wants to achieve, and (3) the writer's length limitation.
Previous Research Findings
The other research is a journal by Khamlan Phommavongsa et al., titled "The Common Grammatical Errors in Writing Narrative Essay of Students at the Resource Center, Laos." The study was conducted to find out; (1) What types of common grammatical errors do students make when writing a narrative essay. 2) What are the dominant mistakes students make in writing a narrative essay. 54 Phommavongsa et al., "The common grammatical errors in writing narrative essay by students at the youth resource center, Savannakhet. The error that occurred in the sentence is that the students did not use the preposition before the noun "the tourist" to indicate the location of " Tirtosari Falls".
The correct preposition used to complete the sentence is “IN” to explain that “Tirtosari Waterfall” is located in Nguweng village. So the correct sentence is: “The air is cool, the water is clear, and the splash of the water makes the atmosphere cooler.” The student tried to tell the reader: “The landscape there is very beautiful….” instead of “The landscape is very beautiful….” which Michael and Mary say is incorrect.
The student wrote the plural subject "the airy sound of birds and dense leaves" in this sentence, but the verb in the singular form. So the correct sentence is: "The air is cool, the water is clear, and the splash of the water makes the atmosphere cooler".
RESEARCH METHOD
Research Design
Qualitative research, according to Creswell, is an investigation into a social or human problem, based on the construction of a comprehensive, holistic picture with words, reflecting the specific perceptions of informants, and conducted in a natural environment. These approaches are based on inductive designs that aim to generate meaning and produce rich, descriptive data58.

Data Analysis Technique
Finally, the researcher used previous research sources such as journals and theses as well as books as secondary data in this study. The collected data was identified in this step to detect grammatical errors in students' writing. After obtaining the primary data, the researcher classified the errors based on the surface strategy taxonomy according to Dulay et al.
Calculation of the errors showed information about the total number of errors detected as well as the percentage of errors. The formula used is based on Erlangga et al., to calculate the error rate. N : The number of a specific type of failure Nt : the total number of all types of failure.
The cause of the error was calculated by relating the error to the theory of the causes of errors and confirmed by the interview results.

Moreover, the teacher is difficult to approach, so if she did not understand, she did not dare to ask73. She said if there is any difference in the structure of sentences whether Indonesian or English. She said that she indeed translated word for word because she did not understand how to make it in the right way and style in English79.
Except for the time of efficiency, she didn't want to spend too much time just focusing on something she didn't understand80. She said only vocabulary she did not know, which is actually unknown81 If translated word for word, the sentences will not connect82.
Discussion
According to Michel and Mary, the passive voice in the simple present tense form consisted of the formula S+be+V388. The right to complete the sentence is because the subject is a singular noun in a simple present tense sentence. The verb shows that the student used 'recommended', in the form of the past participle.
Michael and Mary explained in their book that the subject is the agent of the sentence in the active voice; it is the person or thing that performs or is responsible for the action of the sentence. This is because the students did not write down the subject and the linking verb in the sentence, so it became unclear. The correct word is "want" because the subject in the sentence above is the plural pronoun "I"104.
Therefore, the verb used is in the form of the infinitive verb “to calm down”, so that the subject and the verb agree. Peter, The word double or increase has the same meaning, but is used differently in the sentence. As quoted in Michael and Mary: When creating the passive voice sentence, remember to place the subject of the active sentence after the verb in the passive sentence, preceded by the preposition by111.
As in the previous sentence, the student used the wrong word order in the opening sentence. She edited the sentences based on the translation, such as adding a modifier to the first sentence. For example, "every year" was a kind of modifier to be placed at the end of a sentence or as a complement.
In addition, students should develop reading and writing habits to become good writers in the future.
