ABSTRACT

Attraction in a tourist attraction is one of the main assets that must be owned in an effort to improve and develop a tourist attraction. This study focuses on one of the attractions in North Penajam Paser Regency, namely the Sipakario Nipah-Nipah Beach Tourism Object. This tourism object is still managed independently by the community, so that its management is less than optimal and the number of visitors has decreased, and finally there is no retribution given from this tourism to the Regional Original Income (PAD) of North Penajam Paser Regency. The purpose of this study was to analyze the willingness to pay visitors in an effort to manage the tourist attraction of Sipakario Nipah-Nipah Beach. This study uses qualitative and quantitative methods, where qualitative methods in the form of qualitative descriptive analysis are used to see the characteristics of visitors, and quantitative methods in the form of logistic regression analysis are used to analyze tourism factors and components that will affect visitors' willingness to pay and the CVM analysis method is used to estimate the value of WTP (Willingness To Pay) that will be given by visitors. The data collection process will be carried out by means of interviews and distributing questionnaires. The results of this study will show that not all respondents can be used for further analysis, due to the large number of data gaps between one respondent and another, then it is also known that there are no tourism characteristics and components that have a significant effect on the willingness to pay for tourist attraction visitors. Furthermore, the most important result is that the amount of WTP (Willingness To Pay) from visitors will be Rp.

7,186/person, with the total value of the WTP that will enter is Rp.

12,059,782/month.
