ANNOUNCEMENT FOR TilE SESSION OF 1855-'56.

'l'HE

Fifth Annual Course of Lectures in this Institution will commence on Monday, the 29th of October next, and continue until the first of the ensuing Mar-ch.

A Preliminary GoU?·se of Lectures, free to all students, will be given by the Professors, commencing on the first Monday of October. Five Lectures will be given daily, on subjects not f11lly discussed in the regular session.

'l'he Anatomical Rooms will be opened for students on the first Monday of October, under the supervision of the Professor of Anatomy. The facilities for the study of practical Anatomy are not surpassed anywhere.

'l'he new and spacious Museum Hall wi'll be handsomely fit- ted up and furnlshed by the opening of the ensuing session.

A Clinique has been established in connection with the Uni- versity, at ·which operations are performed, and cases prescribed for, and lectured upon, in the presence of the Class.

Candidates for the degree of Doctor of J£ed1'cine must have attained the age of twenty-one years. They must have attended two full courses of Lectures in a regular and accredited School of Medicine; the last of which must be in this Institution. They must write an acceptable 'l'hesis, and deposit it \Yith the Dean on or befOre the first d-ay of February, on some .Medical subject of their own selection.
