1 INTRODUCTION
Language is one of the tools for people to convey ideas and thoughts orally and in writing every human interactions us language to speak, whether it's body language to speak, whether it's body
Language, spoken language and written language. In other words.The use of language reflects the nature and character of a person because of the language everyone has the freedom to use the word choice.
Idiomatic expression are mostly found in literature, when taken together have different meanings from the individual meanings of each word. Idioms take many different forms or structures.
An idiom can have a regular structure, an irregular or even a grammatically incorrect structure (Seidl and McMordie, 1988).
According to Fernando (1996), idiomatic expressions in particular are usually difficult to interpret. This is primarily because aware that they are motivated by IDIOMATIC EXPRESSIONS ON BON JOVI’S SONG LYRIC

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis ekspresi idiomatik yang ditemukan dalam lagu Bon Jovi, tujuan penelitian untuk menggambarkan jenis ungkapan ekspresi idiomatik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, sumber data berupa dokumen dari album Bon Jovi. langkah menganalisa data kualitatif terdiri dari pengelolaan data, membaca / memo, menggambarkan, mengklasifikasi, menafsirkan, dan mewakili temuan atau penulisan laporan.
Dari hasil penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan bahwa terdapat ekspresi idiomatik dalam lagu Bon Jovi dengan berbagai tipe,lagu berjudul it’s my life yaitu: 1) tipe yang memiliki lirik gramatikal terbatas liriknya yaitu backed down, dan Stood Reviews their ground, 2) tipe yang memiliki lirik sintaksis terbatas liriknya yaitu Owns breaks, 3) tipe lirik baku liriknya yaitu broken-hearted dan faith-departed. Ekspresi idiomatikk dalam lagu next 100 years yaitu : 1)tipe yang memiliki lirik gramatikal terbatas liriknya yaitu worth the fight, 2) tipe lirik idiom sebagian atau parsial liriknya yaitu comes down, dan comes back, 3) tipe kata kerja phrasal liriknya yaitu give up, learning on, stand by, dan believe in. Dari hasil penelitian peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat dua belas ekspresi idiomatic, dalam lagu berjudul it’s my life terdapat lima ekspresi idiomatik, dalam lagu berjudul next 100 years terdapat tujuh ekspresi idiomatik. Yang paling banyak terdapat ekspresi idiomatik yaitu pada lagu next 100 years dan tipe yang paling banyak ditemuai ekspresi idiomatik nya adalah tipe lirik idiom sebagain atau parsial.

Idiomatic expressions are the Idiosyncrasies of a language. Often defying rules of logic, they pose great difficulties for non-native speakers. Idioms can also be unrecognizable for non-native speakers, consequently they translate them literally. The meaning would be awkward and does not make any sense, thus making it far away from the intended meaning.
Moreover the culture of both languages is different. Translating idioms has been a puzzling problem for many people.
Someone must comprehend translation and idiomatic expression because they are interconnected.
The phenomenon Most people just enjoy the fun music of the song, but do not understand the true meaning of the song, is implied from the chorus song it's my life.
In the song contained such songs idiomatic expression example in the lyrics “This is for the ones who stood their ground, For Tommy and Gina who never backed down Tomorrow's getting harder make no mistake”. The lyrics are backed down, the meaning of the lyrics is mundur the lyrics
contain the verbs of the past tense but the more appropriate word for the lyrics is never give up, the “backed down” lyrics are in the song it's my life.
In the case the researcher wants to find out the idiomatic expression used in it's my life and next 100 years The researcher will focus on describe the idiomatic expression found in it's my life so that researchers raised the research title is "Idiomatic Expression On Bon Jovi’s Song”.
RESEARCH METHOD
The design of this research is qualitative research. According to the Gay and Airisian (2010: 10) states that the purpose of qualitative research illustrate some reality, developing a deeper understanding, capturing everyday life and human perspective. In other words, qualitative research aims to describe and understand social phenomena that occur in human social life. There are various types of qualitative research, basic interpretive studies, case studies, document or content analysis, ethnography, grounded theory, the study of history, narrative inquiry, and a phenomenological study.
Source of data in this research is document which was consisted of song album by Bon Jovi. The aim of this research to give the real situation of
3 developing idiomatic expression of a song. Therefore, the source of this research was document of album Crush.
According to Gay and Airasian (2000:239), there are several steps in analyzing qualitative data. They consist of data managing, reading/memoing, describing, classify, interpreting, and representing the finding or writing report.
RESEARCH FINDING AND DISCUSSION
Type Idiomatic Expression Found on Bon Jovi’s Song
Type Idioms that have Limited Grammatical, there are three idiomatic expression that is backed down lyrics found in the song it's my life, lyrics stood their ground is on the song it's my life and worth the fight is in the song next 100 years.
In the type of limited syntactic there are one idiomatic expression that is owns breaks lyrics found in the song it's my life.
In the type of frozen or frozen idiom there are two idiomatic expression that is broken-hearted lyrics found in the song it's my life, and lyrics faith departed is on the song it's my life.
In the type of partially or partial idiom there are two idiomatic expression that is comes down lyrics found in the
song next 100 years, and comes back is in the song next 100 years.
In the type of phrasal verb there are four idiomatic expression that is give up lyrics found in the song next 100 years, lyrics learning on is on the song next 100 years, , lyrics stand by is on the song next 100 years and worth the fight is in the song next 100 years.
From the second Bon Jovi’s song entitled it's my life and next 100 year then got there are twelve idiomatic expression with various type, the most widely used type is pharasal verb type while the least used is type which has limited syntactic.
Therefore the researcher interpret that idiomatic expression is very useful to know the true meaning behind the meaning of the word, because the lyrics contain idiomatic expression widely used for everyday communication as an example of song lyrics containing idiom backed down, stood their ground, Owns breaks, broken -hearted, faith-departed, comes down, comes back, give up, learning on, stand by, believe in.
CONCLUSION
From the data analysis, the researchers found that in the song bon jovi entitled it's my life and the next 100 years there are all types of idiomatic expression by palmer number of idiomatic expression that is obtained is twelve idiomatic expression with various types, on a song
4 entitled it's my life, there are five datum idiomatic expression with three types: 1) type idioms that have limited grammatical lyrics containing idiomatic expression that is backed down, and Stood Reviews their ground, 2) type of the which has limited syntactic lyrics containing idiomatic expression that Owns breaks, 3) type of frozen or frozen Idiomatic lyrics containing idiomatic expression that is broken-hearted and faith-departed.
On track next 100 years there have been seven datum idiomatic expression with various types: 1) type idioms that have limited grammatical lyrics containing idiomatic expression that is worth the fight, 2) type of partially or partial idiom lyrics containing idiomatic expression that comes down, and comes back , 3) type phrasal verb lyric containing idiomatic expression that is give up, learning on, stand by, and believe in.
