The purposes of this research are to find out differences in the derivation of syahida words in the translation of the English Quran and to find out the translation procedure used in the translation of syahida words derivations by Taqiyuddin Al-Hilali & Muhsin Khan and Marmaduke Pickthall. As a result, the researcher found that there are eight derivations of syahida words in 36 verses in the Quran. Al-Qathan defines the Quran as “the eternal miracle that is always enhanced by the advancement of knowledge.
Translation is "the expression in another language (or target language) of what has been expressed in another, source language, preserving semantic and stylistic equivalence" (Bell, 1991:5). When translation occurs throughout the text, it is included in the discussion of translation method. In this research, the discussion will be focused on the translation procedure used in the subject of the research, because the research does not analyze a whole text.
The researcher tries to find the meaning of "visible" and "visible" in the Cambridge dictionary to know the differences. Both have corresponding meanings, but the word "visible" is more specific than the word "seen". Fathur Rahman is a book that has the function of searching for verses in the Quran.
Research Questions
The researcher is interested in both translations seen from the different background of the translators. Judging from the times, Marmaduke Pickthall is older than Taqiyuddin Al-Hilali and Muhsin Khan. While Taqiyuddin Al-Hilali and Muhsin Khan are a Muslim and have been studying Islam since childhood.
In conclusion, this study will analyze the translation of syahida derivations of nouns in the English Quran translation by Taqiyuddin Al-Hilali &. What are the translation procedures used in the translation of the derivation of the syahida noun by Taqiyuddin Al-Hilali & Muhsin Khan and Marmaduke Pickthall.

Literature Review
The second previous study is by Marfu'atus Sholikhah from the Islamic State University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta (2015). In this study, Marfu'atus asks two research questions: (1) How are the transitive verbs translated into English by Abdul Haleem (2) How is the grammatical equivalence of the translation of the tense grammatical category of the verb. The conclusion of this study is that there are twenty-one Arabic transitive verbs of al-fi'lu al-mazi>d.
The third previous research is from Fauzi Ahmad of the State Islamic University of Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (2011). His graduation thesis is entitled "Analisis Homonimi kata Nafs dalam Al-Quran terjemahan Hamka" In this research Fauzi asks two research questions which are: (1) Is the translation of nafs in Hamka's Quran translation correct. 2) What is the homonym for nafs in Hamka's Quran translation. The conclusion of this research is in its translation, Hamka divides nafs into three meanings Qalb, Ruh and 'Aql.
The next previous research is from Ismiyati Nur 'Azizah, a student from the State Islamic University of Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (2011). In this research, Ismiyati asks two research questions, which are: (1) What is the translation of wali> and auliya in the Qur'an, and does it have a different meaning. 2) How do Hamka and Qurais Shihab translate the words wali and auliya in the Quran. The conclusion of this research is that the translation patterns between Hamka and Quraish Shihab are different because they both have their own style.
Their journal is titled "Transferring Polysemic Words from Arabic into English: A Comparative Study of Some Samples from the Holy Quran." In this paper they attempt to shed light on the polysemy in the Holy Qur'an and to test the extent to which the translators of the Qur'an succeed in rendering the intended meaning according to the context of the original text. They conclude that there are many ambiguous words in the translation of the Holy Quran. However, this research differs from the research described above, either in theory or in the object of study.
The purpose of this research is to find the differences in the derivation of syahida words in the translation of the English Quran and to know how the derivations of syahida words are translated in the translation of the English Quran by Taqiyuddin Al-Hilali & Muhsin Khan and Marmaduke Pickthall. Therefore, the analysis will describe the differences and the translation procedure used in the translations.
Theoretical Approach
Therefore, the translators must establish and develop the workable method to overcome the problem of polysemy in the Qur'an. This research analysis on the translation of syahida derivation that can be found in some verses, sentences, in the Quran. The use of translation procedure in the translation of syahida derivation into English becomes one of the reasons for different translations.
Furthermore, Newmark presents the translation procedure in various types, that is, literal translation, transfer, naturalization, cultural equivalent, functional equivalent, descriptive equivalent, synonymy, through translation, shifts of transposition, modulation, recognized translation, translation label, compensation, component. analysis, reduction and expansion, paraphrase, couplets, and notes, additions, glosses (Newmark. In this research, there are three types of translation procedures used by both translators in the translation of syahida noun derivation, that is literal translation, descriptive equivalent and shifting Based on Asma'i, “derivation simply means any connection between two words (of any class) based on the same root, where one can be said to be based on (derived from) the other.
Owens also points out that that derivation can be translated as isytiqa>q (as cited in Owens, 1988:106). Derivation is the process of forming a new word which has a change in form and meaning. He also points out that Arabic consists primarily of a system of consonantal roots that interlock with vowel patterns to form words.
Then it is modified to passive form with change of patterns vowels 'u' after consonant 'k', 'i' after consonants 't' and.

Data Sources
According to Sedarmayanti and Syarifudin, “data are qualitative or quantitative information that demonstrate facts” (2011:72). The most important data is “data collected by the first party (usually from questionnaires, interviews, etc.)” (Sedarmayanti and Syarifudin, 2011:73). While ancillary data or secondary data are “data collected by the second party (usually obtained from institutions related to data collection)” (Sedarmayanti and Syarifudin, 2011: 73).
The main data in this research is the English Quran translation by Taqiuddin Al-Hilali & Muhsin Khan and Marmaduke Pickthall.
Data Collection Technique
After getting the data from Fathur Rahman as to which surah and which verse contains the derivations of the nouns, the researcher looks at the verses in the translation of Taqiyuddin Al-Hilali & Muhsin Khan and Marmaduke Pickthall. The next step is for the researcher to draft verses that have a different meaning of the derivation of the noun syahida than either translation.
Data Analysis Technique
Paper Organization
This research analyzes the derivation of syahida nouns in English Quranic translations by Taqiyuddin Al-Hilali & Muhsin Khan and Marmaduke Pickthall. The purpose of this research is to find the differences between syahida noun derivation and to analyze the translation procedure used in the translation of syahida noun derivation in English Quran translation by Taqiyuddin Al-Hilali & Muhsin Khan and Marmaduke Pickthall. Eight data are analyzes in the use of translation procedure for literal translation – descriptive equivalent.
In the analysis of some data, the researcher also looks at the language used by both translators, especially in the analysis of the differences. The researcher tries to check the use of diction of syahida noun derivations in both translations. In using general diction, Al-Hilali & Khan usually add the information with some descriptions.
Therefore, Pickthall's translation is more formal and more specific than the translation of Al-Hilali & Khan. In translation, the translator is expected to master and understand both the source language and the target language. The good translation will appear from the exact equivalent contained in the translation.
The equivalence in the translation will help people to understand the essential message in the text. In this research, the discussion is only focused on the analysis of syahida noun derivation in English Quran translations of Taqiyuddin Al-Hilali & Muhsin Khan and Marmaduke Pickthall. For the next researcher or who is interested in translation, they are expected to analyze more specific research or analyze the other derivation than fi'il derivation, inflection and any other.
