wasengaged in war work in Detroit · which prevented his being present.

The first thing done was to check hotel accommodations, railroad tickets, travel expense, and other miscellaneous items affecting the national officers.
The complete convention program was gone over

moved by Prichard that Mr. C. W. Lane of the Santa Fe Jailroad be recommended for the Legree of Honorary American Farmer; motion was duly seconded and carried.
By unanimous action the following persons were agreed upon as those to be recommended to the delegates to receive the Honorary hnerican Farmer Degrees

Vice President Fought was given some pointers by Mr. Hoss and Harold Prichard on selecting members of the three constitutional comnittees.
Thursday, October 22 -
Unfinished business was the next, item taken up by the Board of Trustees.
It was moved by Prichard that the Board go on record as not favoring the making of another motion picture film for the duration; motion seconded and
carried.
It was moved by Sisk that the Board recommend postponement of a national exhibit for the durationJ motion duly seconded and carried.
Prichard moved, and it was duly seconded and carried, that the Board recommend that the building of a fireplace at the National Camp be postponed for the duration.
The Board voted unanim.ously to recommend to the delegates the postponement of purchasing a new set of convention State flags for the duration.
Moved by Sisk, duly seconded and carried that the Board reconnnend to the delegates that a quartet contest' not be added to national competitive events at this time.

The remainder of the day was spent discussing and Faking minor changes in the revised constitution.
- Friday, October 25 -
The third session of t.he Board of Trustees was opened at 9 :00 a.m. With Vice President F'ought presiding.
Moved by Prichard, duly seconded and carried, to recommend to the dele- gates that the method on scoring St~te Association Awards be left as it is.
Sisk moved that the Board recommend that the State Association .1twards be discontinued for the present; motion seconded and carried.
Prichard moved that the Board recommend thG continuance of the Chapter Contests; motion was seconded and carried.
Sisk moved that the Trustees reco:mm.end that the Chapter Contest rules remain essentially the same; motion seconded and carried.
Prichard moved to recommend to the delegates that the F.:r·.A. Manual re- main the same With the exception that the new constitution be added; motion
seconded and carried.
Sisk moved to recommend to the delegates that the Public Speaking Contest rules remain essenti&lly the same; motion seconded and carried.
It was 'man:llnously agreed to by those present that the Minutes of the 14th Convention be cut to official actions taken when read by Secretary Isaacs.
It waa unanimously agreed to by the Board to recommend to the delegates that the radio theme for next year be, "Helping to Win The War."
The Board had no reconunendations to make on official merchandise.
~:loved to go on record as favoring the plan of State executive and chapter executive connnittees making minor changes after national program of work is released.
Mo1red by Prichard that the Board not recommend the buying of a bomber in the name of the li',F,A.; motion seconded and carried.
Sisk moved to recommend to the delegates that the idea of service stripes for chapter members be dropped; motion seconded and carried.
Prichard moved to :reconun.end to the delegates that action be postponed on providing any more pictures suitable for framing to chaptera at the present time;
motion seconded and carried.
It was unanimously agreed not to recommend any more F .F .• A. songs on a na- tional basis at this time.

The morning was spent discussing the budget, the constitution, and prepar- ing for the radio program to be presented at 12:50 p.m.
