A discussion was held concerning the Anerican Fanner application from Delalfare. It was moved by Vice President Clifford, seconded and
~rried, that in light of the application and correspondence concerning Wilson W. Webb of the State of Dela'Ware and 8.fter reconsidering all problems involved, the former action taken by the Board of Trustees be sustained.

that the Board of Trustees: reconmend that the Honorary Anerican Farmer Degree ·be con:f"erred upon Edwin J. Sommer, President of the Mid-State Steel & Wire Company.

It was moved by StUdent Secretary Freeman that the Executive Secretary.be authorized to renew. contracts with official manufacturers until the Board deems it. advisable to open th~m to competitive bidding;
