Credit and Residency Requirements for the 1\Jastcr of Fine Arts The degree may be completed in two semesters, but graduate students who have not completed sufficient higher technical courses must attend or study for a longer period of time to complete the full course of study. The stlldcllts transfer programs will be quite different from those of the Level 1 students with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the College of Ceramics. If the degree was earned in a field other than ceramics, students will be required to: (1) take undergraduate courses in those subjects necessary to achieve the level required for graduates of the College of Ceramics or (2) pass a comprehensive examination in appropriate independent study before they can become candidates for.
