ABSTRACT

DEM (dataDigital Elevation Model)is a form of digital representation of the height of the earth's surface. DEM is data that is widely used for initial data on regional, city planning, disaster mitigation mapping, with medium and small scales. Digital elevation model (DEM) is a model to describe the topography of the earth's surface so that it can be visualized into a 3D (three-dimensional) view. To find out the results of the comparison of the digital elevation model (DEM) from topography with the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) from aerial photographs.

In this research, a photo shoot with an area of 500 M has different topographic characteristics. The research location is located on Jalan Bhatin Alam, Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency. The data used is data taken from aerial photography and topographic

From the results of comparative studies DEM from aerial photographs with DEM topographs in Jalan Bhatin nature District of Bengkalis Bengkalis can produce differences in elevation between Total Station and Drone (Aerial Photography), Total Station Accuracy is obtained with a value of 0.99 m while the accuracy of Drones with a value of 2.52 m from the results of this study is expected to add scientific references related to the use of DEM data
