Every human being in his life wants to be able to achieve success, to achieve success it is not enough just to rely on intellectual intelligence. In other words, another intelligence is needed that can support its success, namely emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is measured by the ability to control emotions and restrain oneself. In Islam the ability to control emotions and restraint is called patience.
The most patient people are the ones with the highest emotional intelligence. He is usually steadfast in the face of adversity.1
Patience in Islam is one of the internal elements possessed by every human being. Although this is disputed by intellectual circles about his position in man. Some of them say that patience is an attitude that is owned by everyone and others tend to say that patience is an inherent trait of a person. More than that, this is debated about its existence. Some people say that everyone by nature has this element and some others say that this element arises and sinks in humans.2
183 obediences, stay away from prohibitions and face various tests willingly and resignedly. Meanwhile, according to Sufism experts, patience is essentially a courageous attitude in the face of difficulties. Thus, there are two kinds of patient goals, namely, physical goals such as enduring bodily suffering and staying afloat, such as hard work in worship or other work. In addition, mental targets (lusts) face demands customs and passions. In the context of life, patience is very relevant at any time, without time limit. At this time, many life problems are increasingly complex, both economic problems, unemployment, household, social life, property, lifestyle issues and so on (Sutarman, 2014).3
In this regard, if the patient character grows and develops, then not only the problem of unfavorable behavior can be controlled, but the figure of future generations that is profitable can also be realized. Patient teenagers are teenagers who have a calm, sympathetic attitude, are tolerant of others, are able to control themselves, don't complain and get angry easily, are hard workers and are persistent in carrying out their duties and pursuing their goals. Although patience is heavy and unwelcome, it is possible to manifest and be strengthened. Ways of strengthening are the factors that are assumed to have the most influence on patience.4

Discussion
A. Patience Concept
Patience (ash-shabru) according to language is refraining from complaining. There is also ash- shibru with kasrah-kan shad which means bitter medicine, namely bitter tree juice. To be patient means to tell him to be patient. The month of patience, which means the month of fasting. Thus, patience is self- restraint to carry out various obediences, stay away from prohibitions and face various tests willingly and resignedly. Ash-Shabur (The Most Patient) is also one of Allah's Asma'ul Husna, namely those who are not in a hurry to take action prematurely.6 According to Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyyah, there are three kinds of patience: Patience in obedience to Allah, patience from disobedience to Allah, and patience in Allah's trials.13
1. Patience In Facing Trial
Be patient in facing trials, where all humans will experience trials or tests in their lives, whether the trials are in the form of hunger, thirst, illness, fear of losing loved ones and lack of property (Kaltsum, 2018). Trials like this are natural and human, it is sunnatullah every human being will face a test like this and no one can avoid it. What is needed in facing this trial or test is high patience, because patiently a person will be able to face every test calmly and let it go to Allah as the most helpful substance and the giver of a way out of every problem.
2. Patience In Controlling Lust
Patience in controlling lust because lust encourages humans to get all the pleasures, pleasures, luxuries and splendor of the world. But following all these pleasures will only make people forget the real purpose of life, which is to reach the pleasure of Allah in this world and the hereafter. So to control all these desires requires high patience so that every human being is able to control and control his lustful desires.
Because following all the desires of lust will lead humans to animalistic nature that makes humans want to enjoy all the pleasures of life in the world so that they forget themselves and even forget their creator.
3. Patient in Obedience to Allah
Patience in obedience to Allah, in worshiping Allah really requires extraordinary patience, because in worship what is needed is perseverance and istiqamahan. Worship will be meaningless if it is carried out according to individual wishes and desires alone, but every worship has clear rules and guidelines that every human being must pay attention to and follow. Worship that is done without a clear basis will only be in vain. For this reason, extraordinary patience is needed in carrying out every worship so that humans can feel pleasure and happiness after carrying out worship. And the most important thing for humans to realize
191 in the world and the hereafter (Saifulloh, 2019). Worship is human nature to serve a substance that is higher and greater than himself, because with worship humans will feel calm and tranquility both physically and mentally. So to build order in worship requires practice and high patience so that boredom and boredom do not arise in carrying out worship.7
B. Islamic Counseling Guidance
Islamic counseling guidance according to H. M. Arifin is a service that carries out the main task of providing a guiding child's way of life whose main emphasis is on changing the attitude and mentality of students towards faith and piety to Allah and being able to practice the teachings of Islam. According to Tohari Musnamar, the notion of Islamic counseling guidance is the process of providing assistance to individuals to re-realize their existence as God's creatures who should live in harmony with God's provisions and instructions, so that they can achieve happiness in this world and the hereafter.
Based on the above opinion, it can be concluded that the meaning of Islamic counseling guidance is the process of providing assistance to individuals who experience physical and spiritual difficulties in order to realize their existence as God's creatures who should live in harmony with God's provisions and instructions, so that they can overcome the problems faced with the ability to behave and act. Mentally independent according to Islamic teachings to achieve happiness in this world and the hereafter.5
C. Factors Relationship of Patience With Treatment of Schizophrenia
Mental disorder is a syndrome of psychological or behavioral changes that occur clinically in a person and can be associated with the presence of distress (e.g. pain symptoms) or disability (i.e. impairment in one or more important areas of function) or with an increased risk of painful death. Psychiatric functions include thought processes, emotions, will, patience, psychomotor behavior, and speech. It can be concluded that mental disorders are a manifestation of a form of behavioral deviation due to emotional distortion so that irregularities are found in behaving.
One hallmark of schizophrenia is hallucinations (incorrect and unrealistic sensory perceptions).
Hallucinations can involve the five senses and other bodily sensations. According to Nurhalimah (2016) signs and symptoms of self-care deficits in hallucinatory patients can be found through observation, one of which is the inability to make up/dress up, characterized by disheveled hair, dirty and untidy clothes, inappropriate clothes, male patients do not shave, in female patients who do not make up. From the results of observations that have been carried out by researchers in the field 2 times on self-care in self-dressing in schizophrenic patients.
192 Some of them say that patience is an attitude that is owned by everyone and others tend to say that patience is an inherent trait of a person. Patient teenagers are teenagers who have a calm, sympathetic attitude, are tolerant of others, are able to control themselves, don't complain and get angry easily, are hard workers and are persistent in carrying out their duties and pursuing their goals. According to Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyyah, there are three kinds of patience: Patience in obedience to Allah, patience from disobedience to Allah, and patience in Allah's trials. Worship will be meaningless if it is carried out according to individual wishes and desires alone, but every worship has clear rules and guidelines that every human being must pay attention to and follow.
