One of the strategies of the twenty-first century that might improve students' capacity to have practical competence in their knowledge, especially in taking math classes.

Therefore, it is crucial to understand how teachers feel about the PBL implementation. This study sought to ascertain how students felt about the use of project-based learning paradigms.

This study uses a quantitative descriptive technique and is a survey study. 63 sixth-semester students from Muhammadiyah University North Sumatra's Department of Mathematical Education made up the sample population for this study. The questionnaire was employed as the data collection method. The method of data analysis combines statistical methods with quantitative analytic tools approach. The study's findings show that: (1) with a mean score of 85.32%, students' evaluations of the interaction between students and teachers fall into the very good category. (2) With an average score of 85.53%, students' perceptions of motivation and rising interest in studying fall into the extremely high category. (3) With an average score of 85.48%, students' judgments of their ability to understand the material fall into the very good category. (4) With a mean score of 82.62%, students' perceptions of the competency characteristics of critical, effective, and efficient thinking fall into the strongly agree category. (5) With an average score of 79.10%, students' opinions of good time management ability fall into the good group. (6) With a mean score of 82.67%, students' judgments of good student learning outcomes fall into the very good category. (7) With a mean score of 84.05%, students' assessments of the learning model's congruence with subject features fall into the very high level.
