1. 15. Benefits of the Course

Veterinary Clinical Pathology Course has an important role in the clinical diagnosis, control treatment and disease progression includes hematology examination, Clinical Chemistry and Interpretation of Laboratory examination results. The development of disease and treatment, clinical examination is used to determine the presence/absence of abnormalities. Most hematology/clinical chemistry abnormalities manifest in the organ systems of the body, although they do not show the nature and symptoms of the disease before clinical examination.

16.Course Strategy

The lecture method uses more lectures combined with discussion in parallel classes and two times tutorial Method, students are given the opportunity to ask questions in every lecture. Students are expected to have read the previous material, so they can follow each lecture topic. Various instructional strategies will be used in this lecture, namely: making structured assignments (making papers) with different Topics each group :

(3)

 Group 1. Anemia.

 Group 2.Infection

 Group 3.Hemostasis

 Group 4. Kidney Disorders Group 5.Liver disorder

 Group 6.Immunohematology

Students looking for material for making paper with recent references must be attached simultaneously structured assignment / paper collected. Student paper topics are used as tutorial material. Students are expected to be able to explain changes / abnormalities that occur either in hematology or clinical chemistry and can interpret the results of laboratory tests so that they can assist in diagnosing an illness. In addition to lecturing and tutorial students also do laboratory work on the topic as scheduled of practical
