To enable NBCP to increase their evangelistic outreach and mission mobilization, a thirteen-week curriculum lesson was developed. As the church develops this mindset and practice of evangelism, they will broaden their view of humanity's lostness and become mobilized toward mission involvement. Prior to teaching the curriculum, a preliminary survey was given to the class to assess their understanding and practice of evangelism and mission mobilization.

A summary of each lesson is provided and the full lesson plan can be found in appendix 4.

Just as a newborn baby needs milk to grow, so the baby in Christ needs spiritual food - the word of God - to be nourished in order to grow.

The need for believers to become disciples is a critical step to be a witness for the Lord and to obey his command in Matthew 28:19-20, that is to "make disciples of all the nations make". "The goal of discipleship is conformation to the Saviour, to change to the image or likeness of Christ (Rom 8:29; 2 Cor 3:17-18) in our character, behavior, attitudes and actions."5.

Jesus illustrates this principle in Matthew 9:37-38: "Then he said to his disciples: "The harvest is great, but the workers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers into his harvest. ” This principle works for all believers who sincerely pray.

The gospel or good news is that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to earth to redeem people and bring them into a personal relationship with Him.”1 The act of evangelism is the proclamation of God's good news. Bock describes the gospel this way: “Its central proclamation is the good news of God's love and initiative, not only to save us from hell, but also to bring us into a healthy relationship with Himself.”4 The gospel is God's message of love, extended to mankind (John 3:16), but only if they receive his son Jesus Christ, as he presented to him the Messiah, the Redeemer of the world (John 4:42). The frequency with which these words are used in the New Testament should tell us something about the priority of evangelism in our churches today.”6 The gospel is the good news of God's atoning love message to mankind.

Because of his love and grace, God wants to redeem sinful humanity and thus reconcile all the people of the world to himself.”7 The Father and the Son agreed that the Son would come to redeem man.

Christians should realize that it is a privilege to share the gospel wherever believers are (community, family gatherings, workplace).

Paul understood that he was required of God to do anything (preaching the gospel, witnessing to anyone, going through hardships, facing false teachings, traveling to unknown parts of the world, leading in God's direction and not his own). it was a privilege and opportunity to serve God.

The Bible helps man to understand the mind, the heart, the forgiveness and the love that God has for mankind. If the Bible exists because of the mission, the same must be said of the church.

The Bible then becomes a guide to doing the work of the ministry with exceptional results so that God gets the credit and the glory.

Are we willing to live a life of complete surrender to follow God in his mission. The word 'mission' has engaged Christians today because it challenges the church to assume this role and leave behind its preoccupation with self-interest and its sinful adaptation to its cultural history."35 Mission must be more than a loud word that makes Christians feel. good to be in the discussion, but there is no activity inside the church.

If we do not develop our self-understanding in terms of the role we are called to play in the biblical drama, we will find ourselves shaped by the idolatrous narrative of the dominant culture.”36.

Why NBCP Needs a Mission Mobilization Plan?

God needs NBCP to do its part as other churches participate in the Great Commission because 2 Peter 3:9 says, “The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with you, without anyone perish, but let all come to repentance." It should be noted that "Matthew ends his Gospel by making it very clear what the beginning of his Gospel implied - the universality of Jesus Christ and the worldwide scope of the demand for discipleship."68 Every born-again believer he has the living Holy Spirit. in them and if they yield to the word of God and the Holy Spirit, their consciousness of making disciples of all nations should be a natural response. We must also pray for the different cultures of the world for their openness to the Gospel.
