The first objective was to assess the worship team/choir's knowledge and practices of various gospel-focused songs for corporate worship at HGBC. Church leaders can reproduce the glorious freedom of the heart of God over diversity through scripture.

Parents, children, youth, singles, families and the elderly from different backgrounds all bond in the common worship of God. During this phase, I assessed the worship team/choir's knowledge and practices of various gospel-centered corporate worship songs at HGBC through the survey. The results of the preliminary survey indicated that the participants had a general knowledge of various gospel-centered songs.

Resources for the curriculum were consistent with Scripture - the general views of the authors of the. The three objectives of the project were: (1) to assess the knowledge and practices of the worship team/choir of diverse gospel-centered songs for corporate worship at HGBC, (2) to develop a curriculum of six week sessions to teaching worship team/choir at HGBC, and (3) developing a ministry plan to increase diverse gospel-centered songs in corporate worship at HGBC. The first objective assessed the knowledge and practices of the worship team/choir of diverse gospel-centered songs for corporate worship at HGBC.

In implementing the project, the inerrant Word of God was the foundation of conviction to execute the project. The third strength of the project was the willingness of the participants to attend the training. The fourth vital strength of this project was the intentional study of the ministry plan that contains structure and elements to increase cultural diversity in corporate worship.

Would Have Done and Did Differently

Date: November 24, 2022

I have stayed at Hickory Grove because the people at this church work to create a welcoming environment. Recently, I saw more diversity and found people of different ethnicities, such as my own, so I felt more comfortable. My early years with Hickory Grove would be the early 2000s, which is not very different from current times.

My family had to park at the fields and took the bus to the front door. The church had more large-scale events (some of which were non-religious) such as the fall festival where children could dress up and play games. There used to be a youth choir for kindergarten through 5th grade as well, until maybe 6-7 years ago.

My parents remember the various activities that took place in the 60s and 70s, such as Bible school, potluck dinners, Christian plays, youth choirs and musicals, and the live Christmas tree. I would say that the church has become more welcoming and open to people of different cultures. Some of the things I have seen in my lifetime are the ESL program and community services like the clothes closet and food pantry, which can attract people of other ethnicities to participate.

At the time (70s-90s) my parents told me that the church was mostly made up of white people, but there were. Missionaries visited (and still do) to raise awareness about other people in other parts of the world. When she attended that Sunday, she told us that she was delighted to see more ethnicities and ages represented in the church and especially on stage.

A study of the structure and elements of cultural diversity in corporate worship with an emphasis on planning diverse, gospel-centered worship services. By the end of this week, participants will be able to recognize the fundamental assumptions of cultural diversity in communal worship. To this end, we will place cultural diversity in common worship historically, theologically and philosophically.

By the end of this week, participants will be able to apply the foundations of Christology to interpret cultural diversity in corporate worship. By the end of this week, participants will be able to connect the doctrine of Scripture to nurture cultural diversity in corporate worship. At the center of it all, Merida argues that "the best antidote to division and enmity between believers is a new understanding of the cross of Jesus Christ."12.

By the end of this week, participants will be able to recognize that cultural diversity in corporate worship is different. Cultural Diversity in Corporate Worship recognizes, honors and illustrates the diversity of the local church. Definition: Etnodoxologist I-to-Lo defines contextualization as an intimate and complicated double struggle of the 'text' - the word of God - with our current 'context' (the Sitz im Leben).

From a gospel-centered and theological framework, cultural diversity in corporate worship is not about race. Kevin DeYoung states, "The songs that we sing in corporate worship must be biblically and theologically sound. Moses sang, the church sings, and in heaven everyone will sing "The Song of the Redeemed." It is the song of the church regardless of ethnicity, tempo, instruments , genres, choir, band, brand new or several hundred years old - the church sings the same song.
