Discipleship of biblical sexuality is a weakness within the family ministries of the Church that requires immediate attention. This beginning is more than a simple pairing of complementary companions; it is a foreshadowing of the climax of a union with Christ and the church. The marriage supper of the Lamb is the crowning end of Christ's redemption of His bride (Revelation 19:7-9).
The apostle Paul gives a depiction of the man-woman relationship by comparing it to the relationship between Christ and the Church. The requirements in the love imperatives of the Shema are repeated in numerous passages throughout Scripture. He declares that the words he commands will be 'on' the hearts of the Hebrews (verse 6).
The apostle Paul places special emphasis on addressing the issue of sexual immorality in the church as well as in the life of the individual believer. Union with Christ at the marriage supper of the Lamb is the pillar for addressing the deficit in biblical sexuality as a disciple in the family and the church. The sexual union of a man and wife is a picture of the Church's spiritual union with the Creator.
Rather, it is woven into the larger Gospel story of the redemption of mankind that culminates in the marriage supper of the Lamb (Revelation 19).

The second goal of this project was to develop a five-session curriculum of biblical sexuality discipleship to be taught to parents and other individual adults.3 The complete curriculum is available in the appendix.4 This goal was measured by a panel of experts who used a rubric to evaluate the biblical faithfulness, teaching methodology, purpose, sequence, and applicability of the curriculum.5 The panel of experts consisted of a certified biblical counselor, a former director of girls' ministry, and a student pastor. This panel consisted of an 18-year-old student pastor who serves in a mega-church context; the founder and president of Bring Your Brokenness, who is also a certified biblical counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors; and former director of daughter's ministry at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Florida, and current director of admissions at Bring Your Brokenness, Yulee, Florida. After the panel of experts completed their evaluation, I began revising the curriculum in June 2022 and finished writing and filming in August 2022.

In addition, I created PowerPoint slides for relevant statistics, quotes, and texts that can be used in filming, editing, and post-production of the video sessions. After receiving the final post-survey rating, I performed the statistical analysis of the pre- and post-surveys. The average score of the post-survey assessment was 5.25 points.6 This score indicated that there seemed to be an improvement due to the training curriculum.
The purpose of this project was to develop a biblical sexuality discipleship curriculum for parents and adult volunteers in local churches in Northeast Florida through the ministry of Anchored Christian Counseling. The elements of this goal are supported by the biblical mandate for parents to train their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). The Old Testament Shema, along with the apostle Paul's writings on marriage, sex, and sexual sin in the Epistles served as the foundation of the biblical argument for the purpose of this ministry project (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; 1 Corinthians 6:16-20; Eph 5:31-32).
However, the aim of this project only sketched the tip of the iceberg of the problems that adolescents and their parents face today. The goals of the project were as follows: (1) to gauge the level of knowledge of biblical sexuality theology among a select group of parents and individuals involved in the ministry of Anchored Christian Counseling; (2) develop a five-session. Finally, there were many scholarly sources on the Christ-Church connection between human marriage and the marriage supper of the Lamb.
Part of the rationale for this project was to address the lack of thorough theology of sexuality. She stated that she understood that dealing with the issues of sexual trauma survivors was beyond the scope of the project. Her comments offered a perspective that I think is worth exploring further in future curriculum development.
Further analysis of the results showed that the areas of understanding that increased the most were the theology of the union of Christ and the Church, creating safeguards in the home, and how to talk to children about sexuality issues. I also found the idea of gradually releasing responsibility for media consumption very useful. I believe that one of the major weaknesses of this project is its failure to adequately address how celibacy in singlehood fits into the theology of biblical sexuality discipleship.

Theological Foundation for Biblical Sexuality Discipleship OBJECTIVES: To develop a deeper understanding of the theological foundations
The spiritual fulfillment of Christ and his church at the marriage supper of the Lamb is the climax of the gospel. These words help us understand how the wedding supper of the Lamb in Revelation was always at the beginning (Rev 19:7-6). In such a connection, we can also see a fleeting view of the purpose of sexual pleasure, because it is.
Andreas Köstenberger argues that the earthly marriage should be considered as an illustration of the union between Christ and the Church.8. Biblical sexuality is inextricably rooted in the doctrine of the believer's culminating union with Christ at the wedding supper of the Lamb. In verse 5, Moses moves to the imperative of love with the command to love the Lord with all the heart, soul and strength.
First, they need to be talked about as life happens inside the home apartment. At first glance, this appears to be a repetition of the command in the previous verse to bind these truths on the hand and on the head. The Shema is clearly placed within the context of the family as the primary vehicle of discipleship.
Even within the context of the local church, the family has weakened to the point that the local church has become the supposed vehicle for discipleship. This is also consistent with the mystery of Christ-Church union that Paul discussed in the fifth chapter of Ephesians. Rather, Paul seems to keep his focus on the aspect of sexual sin and its connection with the union of Christ, especially in the context of the body as the dwelling place of God.
Paul makes it clear that the body of each individual believer is the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. The schema outlines a clear picture of the area of discipleship as well as the sequence of how it should be taught at home. I think that is part of the reason why the Bible distinguishes sexual sin from all other sins.
Raising children in the nurture and admonition of God must be intentional and fundamental when an effective defense against the onslaught of culture is raised in their hearts and minds. One of the most useful websites to use as a resource is Focus on the Family.
