Course Description : Course material given to students in the internship program, implementing comprehensive methods and strategies in surveillance, eradication, prevention and control of diseases and cases of outbreaks that occur in livestock regionally by taking into account the economic consequences associated with eradication strategies, food safety and processing of animal products.

Learning
: LO 10 : Generate clinical diagnose of physiological, abnormalities, metabolic and symptomatic diseases on animals based on laboratory and clinical examination to treat them correctly.

Learning : After get this course, students can formulate and implement the concepts and principles of Veterinary Epidemiology in the Public Health and Animal Health Management program, conduct examinations and determine the assessment of the
quality of raw livestock carcass hygiene and livestock- derived products.

Internship in Veterinary Public Health provide knowledge to students so they can formulate and implement the concepts and principles of Veterinary Epidemiology in the Public Health and Animal Health Management program, conduct examinations and determine the assessment of the quality of raw livestock carcass hygiene and livestock-derived products.Therefore intership in Veterinary Public Health courses provide knowledge about: Food Safetyfrom animals, job in quarantine office, job in department of animal husbandry office, interaction of biological, climate, social, economic and cultural factors in the influence of the relationship between disease and livestock production systems.
16. Strategy ofCourse Learning
In this lectures, students are expected to learn and read first the specified teaching material before come to Veterinary Public Health laboratorium. Students practical in the laboratorium and also do field study in quarantine office and Department of Animal Husbandry office.Lecturers only provide outlines of the contents of the subject or the sub-topic then students
are expected to ask questions and also discussion with the lecturer.Students will also be given assignments and examinations.

In each test will given raw score0 - 100. Especiallyfor final score, score will gived in 7 grade : A, AB, B, BC, C, D and E.
Final scorefroma coursedetermined from the combined results of evaluation all of test scores held by the lecturer.
Final Score Process (raw score) become a quality score in the form of alphabet processedin 7 (seven) grade. From that raw score, can be process mean score (X). And then grouping of this score:

Students can take the final test if 100% presentin class, laboratorium, quarantine office and Department of animal husbandry office
If you absent in class, laboratorium, quarantine office and Department of animal husbandry office, you must repeataccording the number of days when you absent before take the exam.
The reports must be collected 1days before final test.
