ABOUT

REGISTRATION FOR FRESH FOOD of PLANT ORIGIN (FFPO) SAFETY TESTING LABORATORIES FROM POLAND

BY GOD’S ALMIGHTY

MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE, REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA

a. That the importation of Fresh Food of Plant Origin (FFPO) can be imported from the country that has registered its FFPO safety testing laboratories.

b. That based on the result of assessments, FFPO Safety Testing Laboratories from Poland have met the requirements for obtaining registration;

c. That based on the point a and b, and in order to implement the provision in Article 28 of the Regulation of Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 55/PERMENTAN/KR.040/11/2016 about Supervision for FFPO Importation, it is necessary to stipulate a Decree from the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia concerning the registration of the FFPO Testing Laboratories from Poland;

DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE ON REGISTRATION FOR FFPO SAFETY TESTING LABORATORIES

Registered Polish FFPO safety testing laboratories with the Registration Number as listed in Appendix I which is an integral part of this Decree.

The Testing Laboratory as referred in the FIRST dictum as FFPO Safety Testing laboratories are authorized to issue a Test Result Certificate (Certificate of Analysis) for FFPOs from Poland which will be imported to the Republic of Indonesia.

THIRD The list of the FFPO Safety testing laboratories as referred in the FIRST dictum is listed in Appendix I which is an integral part of this Decree.

FOURTH The types of FFPO and chemical as well as biological contaminants that must be tested from Poland as referred to in the FIRST dictum are listed in attachment II which is an integral part of this decree.

FIFTH The registration of the FFPO safety testing laboratory as referred to the FIRST dictum can be suspended or revoked in the event of a discrepancy as stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture Number 55/Permentan/KR. 040/11/2016 concerning Supervision for FFPO Importation.

SIXTH In the event of a change in the data of the Registered of Polish FFPO Safety Testing Laboratories registered as referred to in Appendix I, the Polish National Competent Authority for Food Safety is obliged to immediately submit the information to the Agricultural Quarantine Agency.

This Ministerial Decree shall come into force on the date of stipulation.
