The Effect of Parent Distraction Coaching Used The Toy on Pain Intensity of 1–5 Year-Old Children during Iv (Intravenous) Insertion

Bivariate Analysis

These experiences leave the children traumatized by the sight of the nurse and the syringe. The gender of the parents or caregivers who accompanied the children was also discussed in this study. Based on the results of the study, most of the parents or babysitters who accompany their children through the insertion of an IV are women, i.e.

Therefore, when practicing distraction on children, parents or babysitters should have the qualities that match those of an effective distraction trainer so that the distraction has the effect of reducing the pain felt by the children. In the intervention group, some parents or caregivers have a good level of ability to distract their children before, during, and after the children undergo IV insertion. This means that the higher the level of distraction, the lower the children's response to intravenous pain.

The results showed that distraction had no significant effect on the pain experienced by children during venipuncture, but distraction did have a significant effect on the pain experienced by the children. Based on the results of this study, the researcher concludes that the mean value of pain intensity experienced by the children in the control group during intravenous insertion was 7.12 (categorized in the severe pain category), while the mean value of pain intensity was 7. 12 was. The experience that the children in the intervention group had with intravenous insertion was 5.47 (classified as moderate pain).

Descriptive statistical analysis in the form of frequency and percentage was used to look at the description of age, gender, behavior and age group. Chi-square analysis and multiple logistic regression were used to analyze the relationship between age, gender and peers. Tetti Solehati: relationship between age, gender and peer group with reproductive health.

The results of this study explained the characteristics of the respondents, as well as the relationship between age, sex, and peer group. The results of the study were consistent with Mahmudah (2016) in his study of 158 high school students in Padang City who found that sexual behavior was more risky in the male gender (37.7%) Tetti Solehati: The relationship between age, gender and peers The healthiest reproductive group. Comparison of Mirror and Video Methods in Increasing Caregiver Knowledge in Treating Clients Halusination

The results of the analysis using the Mann-Whitney test obtained a value of p = 0.000 <0.05, which means that there were significant differences in the knowledge of caregivers after the test between the lecture group and the video group. In the video group, the mean pre-test caregiver knowledge was 7.57 and rose to 11.80. Williams (2010) said that health education provides objective evidence for the development of a comprehensive health system.

Effect of Schizophrenia Care Application (Ics Mobile) on Family Knowledge about Activities Daily Living (ADL) to Schizophrenic Patients

While in the outer countries, the development of health educational media has been carried out, which is transformed into the benefits of smartphone functions (Mosa, Yoo, & Sheets, 2012). Several studies have shown the effectiveness of using smartphone applications in the use of health educational media (Kratzke & Cox, 2012). However, this condition has not been maximized for the use of smartphone media as a health education media in the Activities Daily Living (ADL) fulfillment process for schizophrenic patients.

It is hoped that the use of technology can help health professionals in the treatment process for schizophrenic patients. Mobile application is given by teaching the application how to work and on the third day the researchers provide help in using the ICS_Mobile application later Knowledge measurement was performed again (posttest 1) then the respondent used the ICS_Mobile application independently and the final stage was done by measuring the third knowledge after 2 weeks from the initial measurement (post-test 2), the data collection process took 2 months. The initial process is carried out health education using the ICS_Mobile application for 2 weeks periodically the results of the average knowledge scores of respondents increased in the second and third measurements.

A mobile application in improving family knowledge can make the family more independent in the process of maintaining activities of daily living (ADL). Mosa et al., (2012) revealed that the use of smartphones to provide information in the form of health education to patients and families can improve patient self-management independent of disease treatment and remote patient monitoring.
