Conference General Chair’s Message Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen,
On behalf of Organizing Committee I would like to welcome you all here today on The 11th International Conference on Asia-Pacific Digital Libraries (ICADL) held in Bali, Indonesia. I would like also to express my highest gratitude to my colleagues of the ICADL team for their efforts in organizing this conference. The objective of this conference is to bring together researchers, lecturers, practitioners, and policy makers from all over the world in order to stimulate an open discussion, for promoting research collaborations and sharing experiences in the development and implementation of digital library. ICADL has shown a significant impact on digital libraries development in Asia Pacific countries. We have great expectations from this conference – its success will be measured from the continuity and closer links among lecturers, researchers, practitioners, and policy makers in developing and implementing digital library. On this occasion, I would like to express sincere thanks to all participants, sponsors, and program committees’ members for their great afforts to make the Conference successful. My special thanks go to Prof. Lim Ee-Peng, and other members of the Steering Committee for their guidance and supports to make it happen. I thank you all for being here with us and hope this conference will create the occasion for all of us to network, seek out collaboration, opportunities that I believe will strengthen the research and development of digital library. While you are here in Bali, please spare your time to visit the exotic nature and exquisite culture of Bali.
