AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Jurnal Lingua Idea is a peer-reviewed journal which focuses on linguistics, literature and cultural studies. It is published twice in a year, June and December. Researchers, practitioners and any of those who concern on language, literature and culture are invited to share and send insightful ideas and research. The scopes are but not limited to: macro-linguistics, micro- linguistics, translation studies, teaching, literary studies and cultural studies.
The followings are the guidelines for the article submission:
1. Articles have not been published elsewhere.
2. Articles are based on research findings, case study, and science development in areas of linguistics, literature and cultural studies.
3. Manuscripts are written in Cambria type, 12 pt, 1.5 space, in quarto (A4) paper size, 3500-5000 words length including table and references.
4. Articles are written in English or Indonesian, essay format which includes:
Title (15-20 words, brief, clear and comprehensive, capitalized, bold typed, 14 pt);
Author’s name (without academic degree, with email address and affiliation’s name and address;
Abstract (a 100-200-word paragraph, in English;
Keywords (3-5 words);
Introduction (without sub sections, contains background, problem statement and purpose of study);
Literature Review (focuses on relevant theories for analysis)
Method (consists of types of research and stages of data treatment)
Result and Discussion (may be written in sub chapters without numbers)
Conclusion
References
Figures and Tables (optional)
5. Another type of article suitable for publication is book review with the following considerations:
Book to be reviewed should be less than two years published.
It is between 5-7 pages in length which contains book identity, biodata of book writer, introduction, discussion and conclusion.
Copy/scan of book’s cover is necessarily enclosed 6. References. The following is the reference format structures:

7. The articles are submitted in MS Word file to the online submission page. If the author has difficulty in submission process, kindly contact editorial team at linguaidea@unsoed.ac.id.
8. There is no article processing charges (APCs) for accepted papers to be published and it is freely open accessed for all readers worldwide at http://www.linguaidea.fib.unsoed.ac.id.
