Symbolizes a tiny-water animal that can only live in clean rivers. Unlike fish that can swim to the depth of a river, Tantalisu can only swim near the water's surface.
In Dayak Tewoyan language, Tukar means ladder, and Tonoi was the name of a spirit that lived under the river and could transform into a woman. It is believed that Tonoi loved to weave.
Whenever she came into the surface, she would climb up using this ladder.
