Abstract
From the very beginning, the potential of computerized system especially from the Web has been quite evident. Online Reservation System has grown rapidly for transportation business (train, flight, and ship), and property business such as hotel, motel, guest house and even student housing in some university over the world.
President University provides student housing which known as President University Student Housing or usually called as PUSH. The limitations of worker at the Finance and Dormitory department to handle the new student in choosing the dormitory, makes a reservation, payment and also moving-in become the problem the beginning of each academic year.
This research is aimed to help the dormitory management to improve their management by providing a Dormitory Booking System that can give general information to people and new students about the dormitory itself. They also can make reservation room for the requested room and also the system has ticketing system to help students for reporting all problem that occurr in their room to the dormitory department. The system also will record all information data and give notification to student when the room is nearly expired.

1. INTRODUCTION
Nowadays business is moving from manual system to a computerized system to improve the bussiness process. There are many advantages of the computerization system over the manual system.
The computerization system, it helps in effectiveness and efficiency by save more time and money. The popularity of the computerization system is increasing day by day and most of the systems are being computerized.
In this era all company or organization want make to make a system that can make the business process faster and all the user want the system help them in their job become faster and easier. The increasing number of new students every year and also the limitations of worker in President University Student Housing (PUSH) department, leads to problems in the management of data and take care of the students during the moving-in. The large amount of rooms also becoming a constraint on its own behalf, the growing number of the dormitory area will also affect the responsibilities and tasks of the dormitory management and control of maintenance about the dormitory.
With President Univeristy Booking System, it can facilitate and improve the efficiency and responsibility of the dormitory management during moving-in and daily maintenance. Eases new students primarily from outside the area to look for information online about PUSH without having to come directly, and they can book a room with notice by following the procedure. This System also serves as a means of marketing PUSH itself, where prospective students or people can see condition, the floor plan and gallery related to PUSH without having come directly.
2. METHODOLOGY
This research and application development uses the RAD (Rapid Application Development) methodology. RAD is an object-oriented approach to system development that includes a method of development as well as software tools. This methodology has goals for shortening time needed in a traditional SDLC design and the implementation of the project [7].

3. RESULT AND DISCUSSION
PUSH Booking System will help user to record every information about room booking, capacity and empty room in the dormitory area. The system also will store all information and act as a reminder of expired date of room. To support the PUSH management in case of maintenance and controlling, the system provide ticketing for every student. So, if there is a damage or problem occur, student just simply use the ticketing system to report to PUSH management about the problem and request for repair or change.

Figure 2.2 shows the whole table relation of PUSH Dormitory System. The main idea of every
In transaction table they hold the information about the date, transaction value, user number, room, expired id and new transaction. They receive the information from the expired table. In expired there are date_id_start which hold the date of rent room start and also date_id_expired which hold the date of the rent expired. Datedim also hold many important information in the whole system. Because the datedim table is consist for fulldate, dayofmonth, dayofyear, dayofweek, dayname, monthnumber, monthname, year, and quarter. From datedim table there are many table depend on it, such as;
adminlogin, transaction, expired, and priceclass. Those table is related and share the Primary Key where those tables is hold the Foreign Key from the datedim.
Figure 2.3 shows the main homepage of PUSH Booking System which provide information about the dormitory, start from facilities, pricelist, gallery, SH Map (global map of enitre dormitory) and contact us panel.
There are also login menu on the top right corner of the page, where to gain access to login area, user / student should follow some procedures, such as:
- User are enrolled in the academic year in that time - User already paid to the Finance for the room
After complete those following step user will get authenticated ID and Password that sent through email to access the login area and choose room.

While the ticketing system, a system that created to facilitate student in case of reporting for maintenance in their room. It will help the management side to track the problem in the dormitory, and student can communicate through mail to the management in case to scheduling the maintenance to avoid there is no one in the room when the maintenance is come.

Student can chat directly to the management with mail to arrange the schedule where he/she available and maintenance can be done. After the maintenance is done, the status will be change into repaired. Student also could see the history transaction of all booking room in dormitory, when it come to moving-in time for new student, they should download the latter on right side of the table with pdf icon for the requirement to exchange it with room’s key. The confirmation latter will shown. The letter will provide information of student and room that they book earlier. To avoid the crime or cheating, the latter will hold authenticated code which auto generate from the sytem and also show in barcode. So when moving in time, new student will just simply exchange the confirmation latter and also payment reciept with the room key. With this confirmation latter, the dormitory managemet can manage data more easy with just matching the authentic rent code with the database. When the code is match and dorm mnaagement will give the new student the room key and take them to their room.
The confirmation letter as shown in Figure 2.6 is consist of general information about the student and the room they booked earlier. In this letter also provide barcode of rent code to indicate the room when Moving In time.

etc. This system also provide the whole map and floor plan of the entire dormitory. it is the whole map of the PUSH, there are also floor plan of each dormitry building, such as SBH, Faculty, Pavillion and SN Building. All the map is also provide the zooming system with grab mode, user simply hold click (grab) in the map and it will zoom in automatedly. So user can see more clearly the full map and each floor without need to focus the eyes to the screen.
The application is already implemented live in real working environments and has been tested several times to make sure it is bug free. The tests were done on development environments and live environments. The application is already tested and ready to use. This application also user friendly as possible, by less menu to choose and minimized button to click to reach specific object in the system.
By using this system, it is expected to see the change of workflow of dormitory management about placement and booking system every academic year. This system can be implemented in the companies in low budget and effort which is suitable for President University.
