EDITORIAL

This volume will present five titles related to a various tourism emerging issues. This Volume 16.2, discussing the impact of tourism and tourism facilities of a number of case studies. The papers in this issue discuss the tourism sector from a macro scale, the aspect of developing tourist destination, to the micro scale service and hospitality in the hotels.

The first article discusses Pacitan Regency as a tourism destination. Tourism development in Pacitan Regency is based on the natural beauty, therefore ecotourism is proposed to be one of the drivers of tourism development in the region.

The second article discusses how the chef's perception of the food served in hotels in the state of Odisha, India. How is it related to tourist satisfaction. This paper attempt to find out chef’s perceptions of food preparation practices in some of the well-known hotels in Odisha. The most pivotal question to be examined in this study is the day to day culinary practices in preparing the variety of foods in order to satisfy the taste buds of different guest staying and coming to the hotels in Odisha.

The third article discusses the impact of climate change on the tourism destination, especially in the beach area. Whereas, tourism activities in the beach area highly depending on the climate condition. The tourism attractions is greatly affected by natural conditions and their changes.

This study aims to identify the impact of climate change on coastal tourism destination from the perspective of stakeholders in Kuta Beach, Bali. This article examines the perception of tourists in Kuta Beach Bali as a popular tourist attraction in Indonesia.

The fourth article discusses the development of rural tourism in Indonesia. The author compares three popular tourist villages in Indonesia. Namely, Tana Toraja, South Sulawesi, Kampung Naga, Tasikmalaya Regency, and Sade Village, Central Lombok Regency.

And the last article discusses the development of green accommodation as one of the paths to sustainable tourism in Malaysia. It also analyzes the tourists’ perception of green accommodation from sustainability perspectives.

Such is a brief overview of relevant five papers published in this issue. Hopefully in the next edition will be better.
