The survey research design in terms of descriptive quantitative was used to find out the students' problems in reading comprehension in school. Non-scientific articles Research or conceptual article is a scientific article written based on the results of thinking about a problem. The presentation in the scientific journal depends on the subject and content of the article.11.
The difference between the two articles lies in the author's emphasis on the underlying research and reasoning. The title is written in capital letters (with a capital letter), the term in a foreign language is written in italics. 2) The name and address of the author. The results of the study in the form of data are presented to substantiate the findings of the research conducted.
Translation of the title of the Indonesian article is loaded on the first line of abstract English language. From the explanation above, the researcher concludes that reading comprehension is the process of getting meaning from the content and information about the topic in the text. Therefore, the reader must have good concentration in reading text to get the meaning of the author's idea.
Therefore, students sometimes find it difficult to find the conclusion of the text because the meaning of the statement is not on the text. Second, students paid a lot of attention to details with the result that they often miss the main idea of the text.

This strategy researchers used sequential exploratory strategies in which the researcher collected and analyzed qualitative data followed by the collection and analysis of qualitative preliminary findings. This strategy is to combine quantitative and qualitative data at once, with concurrent, embedded concurrent, or transformative concurrent methods.2. Based on the explanation above, this study used sequential strategies by following the technique of exploratory strategies.
Namely, to understand the aspect of student's difficulties in understanding article text, then distribute the questionnaire survey or instrument to know the difficulty factor of students in understanding article text as quantitative data collection. 1Jenifer Wisdom, Mix Methid, Integrating Quantitative and Qualitative Medical Home Models, (ahrq Publication No:13-0028-Ef) Vol 12.

Instrument of the Research
An interview is a data collection technique that uses open-ended questions and can be used to obtain more information about cause and effect for each aspect in the research.3 The researcher interviewed the students about the aspect of their difficulties in understanding the text of the article. The students answered the questions in their own words, but there was no alternative answer by the researcher. The researcher interviewed the respondent who was the sample of this research through WhatsApp to prevent the spread of corona virus.
The five aspects of reading comprehension were determining the main idea, making inferences, identifying references, finding specific information, and understanding the meaning of words or vocabulary. It was stated that the audio recorder provides us with more meaningful linguistic information than taking field notes.4 The researcher used an audio recorder as a supporting tool in interviewing and used a smartphone to record the audio and took the photographs as evidence in conducting the research. Distributing the questionnaire to students would be a great way to get more concrete data on students' factors in understanding articles based on their problems.
The questionnaire was one way to identify the factors of difficulties faced by students in understanding the article based on reading comprehension. The questionnaire consisted of 12 questions, to which students must answer honestly and correctly. In this instrument, students chose a questionnaire format related to several aspects that they mention in Chapter II, such as internal factor and external factor, and alternative answer.
Procedure of Data Analysis 1. The Analysis of Qualitative Data
Questionnaire was one of the supporting techniques through which researchers want to identify the perception, opinion, problem and their ability to understand articles based on their reading comprehension. In this test, the questionnaire format concludes with the alternative answer chosen by the students. Questionnaires consist of 12 questions that must be answered honestly and correctly by the students.
The following table is the interpretation score of each of the questionnaire options in which different scores are given to both positive statement and negative statement.
Findings
In my opinion I got very difficult to understand article because my knowledge is very low, I know very well that knowledge affects the reader to understand the article, and also I have problem with vocabulary, this is very much for me difficult to the point of the article, the identification of main ideas also very difficult for me, because it does not sit at the beginning of the text, I am very rarely to read any English book, especially for article text" .. about the knowledge, I am very low on that, another problems is about high level of vocabulary, and also long sentences caused a lot of problems, but finding main idea, specific information and also using strategies is not really a problem for me not, last aspect too, I find no difficulty with pronoun reference”. Perhaps the last aspect, because of my knowledge is still very limited, other problems that are also faced because of low vocabulary skill, I fell very hard to understand long sentences and also specific information, otherwise with main idea, focus is the most important for me in my reading activities, I didn't really fall hard to find main ideas in 1 paragraph" .. the most aspect I fell are long sentences, because they consist of many tenses, and also clauses , another problem is also a lack of my knowledge, find . Specific information is also my problem, I am very low in reading skill, especially for vocabulary, I believe that vocabulary mastery is the most important, last is to find main idea, because main idea is not always in the first sentences, skimming and scanning are my strategies in my reading activities”. The problem was vocabulary, because for the length of the sentence is not really influence if we can understand a single word, because a lack of knowledge is so difficult for it, but it depends on the context, in sum, all the difficulty aspect that is asked is my reading difficulties”.
The above data shows that students have difficulty which is caused by limited background knowledge, namely 91/100 x so it was categorized as Strongly Agree. The above data show that students have difficulties in using reading strategies, respectively 79/100 x so it is categorized Agree. The data above show that students have difficulty concentrating, namely 72/100 x so it is categorized Agree.
The above data shows that students have no support from their family environments, namely 58/100 x, so it was categorized as Medium. The above data shows that students have no support from their family environments, namely 64/100 x, so it was categorized Agree. The results above were the accumulation of the students' difficulties in understanding the article text in the seventh semester, which identified the aspect and it encountered the factor, the researcher carried out in mixed method, as qualitative and quantitative approach.
Discussion
Summary: Identifying the main idea is the process of making sense of the content and information about the topic in the text. Therefore, the reader must have good understanding in reading the text to get the meaning of the author's idea. This means that most students agree that they can understand half or all of the text of the article.
For item 4, the majority of students answered agree, categorizing positive agreement with the statement. For point 5, the majority of students answered I agree, categorically I positively agree with the statement. For items 6 and 7, the majority of students answered sometimes, categorized as positively agreeing with the statement.
In item 8, most of the students who responded agree, it positively agrees with the statement. This means that most of the students face problems in their reading activities which are caused when they lose their concentration. In item 9 and 10, most of the students responded sometimes, it positively categorized agree with the statement.
Suggestion
The main aspect of students' difficulties faced by seventh semester students of English Program in IAIN Parepare is measured by interview which has been conducted by researcher found that understanding the meaning of words/long sentences becomes the main aspect of students' difficulties with to understand the article text. The main factors of the students' difficulties faced by seventh semester students in English Program of IAIN Parepare are measured by a questionnaire that has been conducted by researcher found that Internal factor which refers to intellectuals becomes the most important factor , who specifically referred to Limited background knowledge than concentration factor.
