In this study, subjects will be taken by eight Thai students from eight semesters living in Ma'had Al-Jami'ah. In this study, the researchers chose this institution because IAIN has Thai students and they have been living in Mahad Al-Jami'ah IAIN Palangkaraya since 2014. The object of this research is the communication problem faced by Thai students living in Ma'had Al-Jami'ah IAIN Palangka Raya.

To be observed in this study are eight Thai students living in Ma'had Al-Jami'ah IAIN PalangkaRaya. The observations will be conducted at Ma'had Al-Jami'ah IAIN Palangkaraya to obtain data: the first on verbal communication performed by Thai students. The second is to get data on communication conducted by Thai students during their stay at Ma'had Al-Jami'ah IAIN Palangka Raya.

General Description Of Research Location

Ma'had al-Jami'ah Putra consists of 20 rooms filled with 3 or 4 students, 3 toilet cubicles and one cooking area. Banyak kendala termasuk kosakatanya karena kosakatanya sedikit sehingga tidak bisa berbahasa inggris karena tidak hafal kosakatanya. Sebenarnya saya tidak berbicara bahasa Inggris sebanyak yang saya katakan sebelumnya karena kurangnya kosakata sehingga saya tidak terlalu berbicara bahasa Inggris dan ketika saya belajar bahasa Inggris di kelas ketika saya diminta untuk berbicara saya hanya menggunakan kata-kata yang digunakan setiap hari seperti diri sendiri -perkenalan.

Sulit karena bahasa Inggris juga merupakan bahasa asing bagiku dan juga ketika aku di sekolah kemarin aku jarang berbicara bahasa Inggris. Aku juga kurang suka bahasa inggris dan aku tidak tahu banyak kosakatanya dan juga jarang digunakan disana dan aku juga takut membuat kesalahan. Karena saya kurang belajar dan kosakata saya kurang dan saya tidak suka belajar bahasa inggris tapi saya ingin belajar bahasa inggris tapi saya malas karena saya tidak suka karena terlalu sulit.

Soalnya kalau jarang dipakai susah dan tidak berani ngomong bahasa inggris. Aku takut salah kalau salah, soalnya aku kekurangan kosakata, jadi aku takut ngomong bahasa Inggris, aku mau ngomong sama orang lain, aku takut salah.
