RESIDENCY PROGRAM GRANTED FULL ACCREDITATION On April 19, 2006 our
residency program had a site visit by a representative of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The Residency Review Committee (RRC) for Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery recently completed its review of our residency program
and have granted our program full accreditation for an additional five years. The approximate date of our next site visit will be August, 2011.
This five-year accreditation—
which is the maximum possible duration of continued accredita- tion represents clear recognition of the quality of our department’s
residency program.
Many thanks to Becky Wiley, and Sarah Maxwell for their hard work preparing for the site visit.
Thanks also to all faculty and residents who provided input and met with the site visitor earlier this year.
